I stress if but how about a double bid to Cardiff when there relegated for the return of caulker and Marshall ? He has looked an assured keeper from what I have seen this year.

I cant pretend i've watched much of Cardiff this season and im not suggesting they are where they are purely because of Caulker, but what exactly has Caulker done for so many people to want him back? other than being here previously? a genuine question

Keepers for relegation candidates often look better than they are due to the volume of saves. Not that he's not good, but I'd be wary of thinking he's good enough. Massive step down from Lloris.

I think he is steady without being spectacular but I would prefer him at centre back now over the likes of Dawson and fryers for instance.

Three interesting players at Cardiff Jorden Mutch Marshall and Caulker I'd certainly get back to the club.

Not exactly confidence-building, a swoop for two players from a relegated defence who get battered week upon week. But similarly I wouldn't pretend to be an expert on Cardiff this season

It astounds me how many people would replace Hugo with bang average keepers. Krul and Marshall? FFS. This is Hugo Lloris. Aim higher.

Krul is far from average.

Besides "Aim higher"? We can only aim as high as the players that want to come. There are only so many players tyhat want to come to a team with no CL and tiny wages. The fact Levy managed tp sign the likes of VdV, Lloris, Vertonghen, Modric and Berbatov in the first place is nothing short of remarkable.

No team in the world is going to bid over £20 million for a goalkeeper so this will be the ultimate test of Levys resolve, there'll be no we couldn't turn down a bid of xx amount this time. The only card Danny boy will be able to play is the bad influence card.

He had a good season when he first came in to the Newcastle side, he's never got close to that form since. Probably just because he had a good game against us that a lot of people want him.

Begovic would be the only keeper in the prem worth looking at. I'd look abroad though for someone like Perin.

Caulker wants first team football, I don't now how good Marshall is, I haven't seen that much of him. He has tobe damn good with a defence like ours.

Krul has has consistenly been one of the league's best keepers. Always pulling off excellent saves.

As for Begovic... aside from the fact he is nowhere near Krul's class, I think we can forget out him after the debarcle with his medical last time.

Marshall could play for any team in the PL imo. Just because Cardiff might get relegated doesn't mean he isn't a good keeper. Mingolet (sp?) at Liverpool could win the title after coming from Sunderland.

I thought it had been well reported that the reason we sold Caulker was because he slagged off Joe Lewis daughter. I don't think he will ever be back at the lane.
