Broomfield, who was in his second spell at the club, departed last week after his contract expired and, to his surprise, he was not given a new one. Levy continues to have Dave Webb as the head of elite potential identification and Stuart Metcalf as the head of performance analysis – both of whom report to Mitchell.

Interesting that he wasn't offered a new contract. he's supposed to be the best in the business.

This overhaul of the recruiting system at the club continues to baffle me. I've no idea what's pushing who which direction, i.e. who's dissatisfied, who's really calling the shots, etc. There's just no pattern one dorection (from the top) or the other (the employees) at all.

My cousin's vet's budgerigar's former cage owner's sister told me he was on drugs.

Disclaimer: the above sentence is factually inaccurate.

This is absolutely true. I saw a picture taken of him when he was mid-sneeze, and he looked absolutely mental.

Didn't even realise he was back!

To be fair isn't his main area of expertise South America? We've not really been shopping there recently...

I think I've got a good idea as to who is calling the shots!

I doubt anyone here really knows what is going on at the club behind closed doors. I certainly don't think it's as problematic as the media like to make it appear. I'm not sure the likes of Broomfield or Mitchell are so influential as we're led to believe. I have faith in Daniel Levy when it comes to business decisions so I'm sure he has good reason for this.

unless ( and this is pure speculation) he is involved in some of the issues currently making front page news in football at the moment.
