What's new

I love (hate) Daniel Levy, please don’t mention him anywhere else!

I have defended levy, but lets be honest. He was everywhere when we had a good start under ange

Hes disappeared since. Hes cut the wage bill and increased ticket prices.

For what?!?

15th of January, middle of an injury crisis, tiny squad on its knees, threat of relegation battle looming not that far over the horizon…we’ve signed a (admittedly needed) goalie. Sadly another example of how little on the pitch success matters to Levy. Get him gone.

The absolute travesty of this fucking dickhead is that he could have made his money for ENIC and put the care and attention into the football side by just getting out of his own way.

10 years ago I was defending him, now I just fucking despise him.

He may get some in before deadline, but it should have been done already. It's not like you have to wait for January to get groundwork done on deals.

Bottled the Ange decision after the Wolves game, has missed out on Potter and failed to line any transfers up. Unfortunatel,y, we are stuck with Levy and Enic until someone pays the price they want for the club.

Levy undermines manager after manager.

Sitting there nodding away as a manager makes his request for new players. All the while knowing he will sign said bargain from the championship or continent happifully ignoring the request.

The arrogance of the man is staggering.

I seriously see us being in a relegation battle now and without over reacting, wouldn't be surprised if we sunk this time. The performances have been awful from the season of no signings (2018/19) onwards. Yet, they don't care and I'd be stunned if we finished top 8 knowing the lack of ambition of these neo-liberal pr!cks.

Why is there no consistent, organised approach to lobby the board and force the owners to act, or at least shame Levy into submission. I feel like other fan groups would be working a lot harder, collectively to get rid of these shits, or at least put some pressure on. We all know it’s s the root cause of this pattern of managed averageness we have to pay for and endure.

This guy will stay and continue to build building after building as long as our happy clappy, day out with the lads on the beers and the coke ‘fans’ continue to let him get away with it.

There is no pride or passion left anywhere in this football club.

Long past his sell by date however sadly see no change anytime soon. After 25 years, desperately needs a fresh pair of eyes at the wheel with new ideas and approach to try and galvanise us on the pitch. Everything about us just feels stale and tired with the same faces stuck up in their ivory tower overseeing the same old crap.

When the over riding feeling is any manager who arrives will ultimately run into the same brick wall, just completely lose hope. Don't even know what we are anymore or what we are trying to achieve. Just feel so rudderless.

Football has outgrown him and just feels like he is hanging around waiting for the tv deal bubble to burst so he can say I told you so.

This is spot on, sometimes I go to games now I wonder if I’m actually at a football match or gone down Westfield Stratford for a day out. I look around me and really do miss the old crowds we’d get at the old WHL where we’d turn up 5 mins before kick off cheer the team on for 90 mins and then leave straight after. Anyone dare try to start a song in the stadium now you get a funny look.

Maybe his hubris will finally catch up with him? Ultimately it’ll be us fans who’ll bear the brunt, but if the bad decisions and lack of ambition wipe off a few hundred million off his eventual windfall that would be something.
