What's new

I love (hate) Daniel Levy, please don’t mention him anywhere else!

It's a 62k stadium and there are plenty of home fans. A lot of them are just not making the noise now. You get the Park Lane chants and about 6 people sing Shelf side ones. I don't think the issue is lack of home fans, I think it's lack of belief now in the team. Too long under Levy ultimately. I genuinely believe it's why we never get any pressure on him in numbers. Most of the fanbase are defeated or deflated by it all now. That's the sense I've felt when I go to games. Plenty of fans around me just not singing. The tourist and away fans only occupy a small percentage, there's plenty of home fans about to make noise. Park Lane is generally the one making noise I guess mostly ST holders sat there but they do seem to be the ones trying.
Year after year after year of ‘dumbing’ down the fanbase. So many legacy supporters have given up their ST’s and so many of the remaining legacy fan ST holders put their tickets on the exchange most weeks

The ground should have been built with a bit of the old shelf and the away supporters should be nearer the ‘home’ supporters

This atmosphere problem was evident from a cup game against Palace a few years ago. That was a rare occasion when the away fans were moved next to the shelf side and I’m convinced the dead atmosphere cost us the game that day.

I don’t know the new ground,’since it’s been built I’ve moved away and had kids but I do know that he boasted the south stand would be intimidating like the yellow wall or the loo. He then plonked a load of corporate seats in the middle of it and on Saturday there was a girl front row holding up an isak sign.
Now don’t get me wrong fans have always SECRETLY mixed, done it myself but can you imagine a Newcastle signing the front row of the kop or the old white hart lane? No ,no, no.

I went to the Amex once in the Brighton end (we won 1-0 Kane) and I cringed so hard coz there was this spurs fan, close to me, that was celebrating the spurs goal like he was at the Lane. The Brighton fans were so nice I didn’t even hear one grumble. I was almost tempted to tell him to STFU but I was loving it to be fair.

No need now, we just beat Liverpool...is what he'll be thinking
Ange has been excellent at towing the club line tbf. All the talk of weathering the storm and coming out the other side to calmer waters will be music to Levy’s ears.

15th Jan tomorrow where we play our 4th game of month and still no attacking additions that Ange has asked for. As things stand we're 13th in league. This is all going well isn't it

If there was a player I wanted Levy to abandon his principles and throw the bank at it wouldn't be Kolo Muani.

Let's not kid ourselves that we have to break the bank to sign a player in January to try and help a front line that has been run into the ground.
We'll be 4 games into 8 game month tomorrow and no forward player. Levys shit list just keeps getting bigger

I agree. I also think it just came down to the player didn't choose us, it's not down to Levy. Ange has also said that he won't add bodies for the sake of it.

I'm not a defender of Levy but to me they are clearly aligned on targets and what/the type of player they want to add to the squad. I am frustrated as well and want bodies in but most of the time in the past all we've asked for is alignment and I would argue that it seems our transfer dealings have mostly been over the past few windows..

Two opportunities we have had to shove assna’s **** faces in the mud and keep them below us; once with the Poch’s tenure and then we had the premier league’s first team to go a whole season not signing a player - no foresight at all whatsoever to push on. The second opportunity was when conte got us top 4 and he asked for certain players to get us build from that and challenging for trophies, again no bollocks shown what so ever to push on from this man and ENIC.

fuck off Daniel levy, you’re the reason we are suffering right now and to you it means nothing. Prick.

Needs to step up and show some ambition this month, it's getting worrying now. Serious squad holes to fill.
