Not sure today was the day to make this thread. I think they all did us proud, with the notable exception of Nacer Chadli and perhaps Danny Rose too.

sandro is just a novelty act. at the end of the day we are stlll rubbish.
I'm beginning to prefer Capoue to Sandro. Sandro has lost a yard of pace with the injury and isn't commanding the game anymore, Capoue knows how to keep his balance.

Sandro, Eriksen and Lamela do it for me. Sandro for his utter madness, but Lamela and Eriksen have that x-factor that hopefully we will see more and more in the coming years.

My heart was broken by the way Modric/Rafa/Bale were all gone within 12 months. I'm trying not to get hurt again.

I completely disagree - today, Derby day, was exactly the day I should be loving them EVEN more. The fact that I've made it today speaks volumes.

How many games have you actually seen Capoue play for us to rate him above Sandro. ?

Sandro is still the dog's as far as I'm concerned.

Soldado for me. Even on the bench, he looks like a Jack Russell itching to get unleashed. No moody faces, no sulking, just a 100% commitment.

None of them live up to their individual hype. But I guess that's why it's hype. Lloris and Vertonghen is as close to exciting as it gets for me. Our goalie and central defender/reluctant left back. How I exciting is that in itself? Going forward what is there? Sandro is a legend. Of Social Media. Needs to be on the pitch a lot more. I missed the Norwich home game so possibly also Eriksen's peak. I love Daws, but his flaws are trumpeted every time you dare speak his name. Adebayor? I don't like him. Never have, never will and it pains me that the shit football we play has the end product of making him a hero. The rest? Meh. I really want to see Lamela on the pitch. He's the guy we could love if we just persisted with him. This back injury shit is just unbelievable in my opinion. I just want to enjoy my Spurs. Even our wins leave me feeling like there's something missing. Defeat is unbearable.
Fantastic post

After what we have seen in the past year, how could we ever love anyone again?

Do any of you get the feeling that no one comes to Spurs with an intention of staying for a lengthy amount of time? I sometimes think that players see us as a big stepping stone to one of the bigger international clubs. I.e Madrid, Barca, Juve (In previous cases United) etc.
