Horrible but could have been worse. Forearm breaks can be career ending.

Poor old Hugo - his injury has almost been forgotten after today's shambolics. Hopefully he'll recover quickly.

Dislocated, I don't know how bad that is. It's not that bad though, is it? Compared to a fracture for example.

I think the main worry is arterial or nerve damage.

Its just as bad.
I think im right in saying that he'll require surgery otherwise he'll be prone to dislocating it again.

It usually doesn't require surgery. I've done it. A forearm break has a greater chance of complications, e.g. compartment syndrome.

Hey Hugo, I made a silly comment earlier before actually seeing the slow mo of the incident. I really thought you were faking it. I deeply apologise and wish you a speedy recovery (y)

ESPN reckon a two month layoff.

I dislocated my elbow about a year and a half ago. It took ages to recover. Still not completely right. Spurs will obviously have top class surgeons looking at it and Hugo will have the best rehab available, but I'd be surprised if it was only 2 months.

Dislocated my wrist 5years ago and it still hurts occasionally. I remember the surgeon saying if I am a builder than its career over. Lucky for me I wasn't a builder.

Saying this it was treated under the NHS.

Wishing you a speedy recovery Hugo.

I did exactly the same at the end of August, and yes, the first thought was that it was broken. Got a some nurses to manually pop the...um, 'bit' back to place. Have most of my arm movement back now. The medical staff at THFC will have Hugo sorted, probably quicker.
