I also signed this guy on my Tottenham career mode last week, I think I should probably list all the players I’ve signed now. Clearly I’m an outstanding scout.

To be fair Real Madrid won the CL with 2 CBs that are terrible in air, and even worse FBs. But Tchoumeni and Bellingham are great in air plus their GK is great at corners. With the right coaching it could work for us too.

Solid enough, not on the level of Calafiori tho but obviously that ship has sailed as he's going to Juve. Im also not sure this is a position we should necessarily be giving a HG spot to all things considered. I know our options might be limited but IMO non HG spots should go to players that are likely to be regular starters so CF, WF, DM etc.

Feels like Ito is the alternative to him, as we have been linked to both for about the same period of time.

Looks like a nice player. I suppose the thinking here is that if we can sign a left footed defender that covers both positions then we're killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Van de Ven showed that he can play LB in Ange's system, albeit differently to Udogie but that's certainly not an issue.

What I notice from the video is that he's a good striker of the ball, shooting, crossing and passing. Doesn't look super quick but certainly isn't slow. Likes to tackle with his right foot, particularly when sliding.

Ito looks a good player and is definitely a good option, I do have concerns over his lack of aerial strength though. We’re already so poor in the air.

But what's his goal scoring record like? We like a goal scoring CB who can chip in when the attackers are not doing the business.

Still think it's a shame we didn't go for Lloyd Kelly as LCB/LB backup, homegrown and free.
To be honest, we could still bring in Lloyd Kelly as well if Davies leaves. A pacey, left sided defender who can also play full back would be useful as well.

I think a player from the Far East that we’re interested in would’ve been high up on the transfer window bingo card for this summer, certainly.

Obligatory “shirt sales will pay for the transfer itself” post.
Was talking to a mate of mine recently and he thinks in the next year or two Spurs will sign another Asian player to replace the marketability of Son. Hope this isn’t what this is and if we want him it’s because of what he can do on the pitch rather then off it.
