Hopefully they rest Harry for this, but would like to see if Carroll can continue the form he showed in the post-season tour, not sure if Pritchard will have amhad enough rest yet either, but would be good to see him get some minutes.

They were saying on SSN yesterday that Kane won't play because he only joined up with the squad recently.

Does that also extend to Carroll then, or did Kane have other obligations forcing him to join up later?

So RLC will be getting his debut, Southgate, you **** clearly you have been influenced by chelsea

Especially since they have alot of younger players in the lower age groups and they never progress any higher because they never play

Loftus-Cheek has done nothing to deserve to be there(he is actually making his debut before ibe)

Madness. Looked at him warming up and I while he is a good player it just smacked of favourtism. Give a young Chelsea player tournament experience and help develop him over others.

Surely Alli even deserves a chance ahead of him

TBH I don't think Alli deserved a place either, considering that Dier got dropped its insane that he is there

I think the fact a chelsea coach is part of the U21's, Im sure he would highlight hey we have several chelsea players in the U18's and lower, we need to show these lads they aren't forgotten

Call me crazy but I don't think its a coincidence that the club with the most call ups to the U21's all season was sacrificed for a club with a good academy but only has one call up(bamford) considering that player wasnt ever going to make the final 23.

I don't think Alli should to be there I was just saying if RLC gets a place then Alli is more deserving through his experience. Dier is a terrible decision.

Your last paragraph is plausible we all know politics plays a part in all walks of life and football is not above it as we know. Southgate whether he makes decision or not is the mouth piece for it, and his justification for some of his decisions is just strange

I am liking the 3 ball players in the middle, it's attacking and bold as if to say we will stick our game on you. They are all rotating nicely. Something tells me though come the tournament one will make way for Foster-Caskey as he'll lose his bottle, and we just sit back and lose the creativity the 3 provide
