Overall yeah, Spurs not really.

Although here in Ireland they're showing re-runs of the knockout stages from last years Champions League on our sports channel. It's great watching that back(final not included):nailbiting:

I don't want to derail this thread but...

It really bugs when people take this stance and always use football as the target, what about the many other industries that generate the same if not more money?

Why are footballers always the villain in these scenarios?

No matter the industry, if your in a position where you can negotiate a contract and your employer or potential employer offers you the terms that you want - good for you. No one was held up at gunpoint during negotiations.

It's not a footballers fault that other industries don't pay their employees more or what they deserve.

I don't really care if it bugs you or not.

I'm not blaming the footballers individually, it's goes way above and beyond them.

But there should be a reality check across the board with what 'some' can earn.

I've supported this club since 1978, as a 10 year old going to WHL with my father. I've seen some good times and certainly some bad times, but for the last 6 months I've really fallen out of love with Spurs and this may be attributed to the last 4-5 years of excitement and optimism to be rapidly replaced with despair and frustration. I think I would have missed football, and particularly Spurs far more if they were still at the levels they were 2-3 season ago, but in all honesty currently not too bothered having to miss the turgid shite which is being served up..

I do miss football, but I miss sport in general. I like a bet so that’s one other thing ( although maybe a good thing).

I don’t miss the circus around football though, but most of all I can’t wait for it all to return simply because it will be a signal that this horrible time we’ve living in is over and life can start returning to normal.

What NRL team do you support? Haven’t got an NRL team yet.

I share a season ticket at the Rhinos this year and am really missing that.

In fact I’m missing the rugby, F1 and will miss the cricket this summer.

Haven’t missed the football in the slightest sadly, last time I enjoyed football was the World Cup and it’s probably been about 4 years since I last liked club football.

The matches I rarely find interesting and the hate between fans and the sensationalism from the pundits/media is just boring. I’m sure most fans don’t like football and just like it to revel in others misery.

I mostly don't think about it. I only ever think about it when it crosses my mind to check to see if they've null and voided this fucking terrible season.

I briefly thought "If they null and void this season does that mean we can just have Poch back?"- but then I remembered it was shit even when we had Poch, so nothing really changes.

Fuck football basically. The game, on the whole, is an abyss of negativity and see you next Tuesdays which really has a negative impact on my general mental health.

Was losing interest in football and sadly Spurs before the season was stopped so no I am not missing it. Unfortunately when I remember to have a look at the Spurs Chat forum I find myself quickly logging out sick of all the complaining and moaning.

I miss football. I even miss us being shit. Football has always been my main passion and I miss all aspects of it. The whole coronavirus thing is definitely having an impact on my mental health.

Yeah cracking player and seems a genuinely lovely guy. Unfortunately haven’t seen enough NRL as its only been on sky the last 12 months but was quite a trio you had.

I did go to old Trafford for the very one sided WC final against NZ and have tickets at WHL this November, really hoping that goes ahead.

The rhinos have a young forward called Cameron Smith too, really bright prospect and thankfully just signed a new contract

I really miss watching Seria A, it was a great contest this year. But as far as spurs, not in the slightest. I have hated this season in so many respects, from the tactics, to the injuries, to the manager change, the lack of squad strengthening, even the atmosphere at the stadium. For the first time in years I really feel very little optimism for the future of the club, and that was before the effects that Covid 19 have/will have. I don't see us buying anyone this summer. Which although is completely understandable, could essentially knock us further down the league and result in the likes of Kane and Son pushing to leave next year. Obv, trying to guess what is going to happen over the last few months and thusly next season is anyone's guess, but no, I haven't missed the mess we currently are.

I haven't missed it I too started to become frustrated by the whole circus, watching it on the TV and all that comes with it. I haven't missed doing a football bet on a Saturday, watching the scores coming in, but what I have missed I will be focusing on when this shit storm is all over. Football is over rated. That said i will still probably make the few trips I do to the lane, but other than that im not fussed on the rest.
Hopefully after this the obsessiveness of the whole thing is there for all to see.

Kinda hoping it never comes back, the more I think on it, to be honest. It's pretty much bullshit.

This season I've had the opportunity to see quite a lot Championship football and have to say I loved to watch it. I'm a bit fed up with the Prem these days and we have played more or less shit football for about a year and a half, so it's more like a relief that I don't have to watch it now. Hopefully it will change when we are back in action some day. Althought not likely to happen as long as Jose is in charge...
