Haven’t missed it in the slightest. If anything become slightly disillusioned with it and how clearly money oriented the PL has become, money first everyone else later... It’s the social aspect for me I miss. Today would of been Everton at home 1730 KO, 25* all dayer in London on bank holiday weekend would of been a great day

It's been a relief to not dread match days anymore, and football being cancelled has been one of the silver linings of this whole shitshow. The only thing I miss is seeing friends at the ground, and the drinking before the game.

What a sorry state of affairs - absolutely damning of the squad and management over the last 18 months or so.

I’m assuming you’ll all be watching BBC 1 at 14:15 though ?

For me it’s VAR. It’s completely ruined watching the game live at the stadium. Takes all the spontaneity out of celebrating goals because you don’t know if they’ll be given or not. There’s always a doubt even it’s clear cut.

All the fun has gone and the authorities seem desperate to keep that going as long as they can.

Nope. Certainly not the way we've been playing for the past 18 months. In fact, it's a bit of a relief knowing that football can't put me in a bad mood for weeks at a time. I hope the season gets cancelled so I can have a laugh at Liverpool after the CL final debacle too.

I can't say I've missed watching this current Spurs team. But the first two weeks without premier league I did miss the anticipation, the discussions on this forum etc. So it's more the before and after matches that created sort of a void.

But I quickly grow out of it. I've gotten so much done in regards to house and garden maintenance these past months. Which obviously is a positive aspect.

Between our awful brand of football and not being able to cheer for a goal due to the (high) chance VAR find a toe in offside in the build up play my football interest was already declining.

I don't really miss Spurs or football atm.

No. I thought I would, but I don't.

Like others have said, playing footy in lockdown in the garden with my boys is a million times better than watching multi millionaires, most who have no love for Spurs, run around whilst people are paying absolutely ridiculous prices for it.

World cup singles in the garden with a 6 and 8 year old with all of us a different Spurs player gives me all the joy of football I need. The wife joined in yesterday and the boys were calling her Tanguy as she was fucked after 2 minutes!

I have missed the cricket and racing and international rugby along with the football and a couple of heavyweight boxing bouts that were due .

Not one bit.....maybe that's an age thing but I have always realised that there is more, much more, to life that football.
Many have seen the game in a different light since the lockdown and talk is not of their favourite players but of the people that are willing to put their wealth and personal gain before the health and well being of others.

Definitely. It’s more and more looking like the PL players charity donations from last week is looking like a PR push from their perspective. Do we even know how much or how many of them have money?

I know they don’t have to do it, but they made such a big deal about it. That and coupled with not taking pay cuts to help their clubs out really shines a light on them.

Definitely haven't missed this!

Really makes you wonder what the point of Mourinho is meant to be if he can't marshall a competent defence. The trade-off was meant to be less exciting football in return for solidity and success - that certainly hasn't happened.

If two managers can't get anything of out this defence then that tells you the full story.
