What's everyone's gut feeling?

Think he will go personally. Just don't see how it gets this far without being what Kane wants. Also think if it was too late it would have been shut down completely.

With the whispers around Richarlison you would have to assume we would push for a replacement pretty quickly.
Just want this now to be done asap as much as it pains me to admit. The only positive from this is that it doesn’t go into Bale / Berba territory when we have already gone 2-3 games in a PL season.

My gut feeling is that it’s a sad situation involving one of the best players i’ve ever seen play for the club. My dad followed Spurs in the 60’s he saw success, I followed them from the early 80’s, was born into this club because of dad. just wish we could be successful and it’s sad to see a player like Kane go if he does.

Agreed. I haven't felt this way since Guy Butters went to Portsmouth.

So all the bs today was about Charlie’s agents fees.

Damaged his brothers reputation on his last day as a Spurs player throwing around PL moves and forcing a Bosman.

All to line his own pocket.

Sounds line Bayern are now picking up the tab.
If that is actually what has been the problem, that is very much the chuckle brothers Kane at it again.

And another thing.. why would you go to BM just because Tuchel wants you? The guy argues with himself in the mirror in the morning, he won’t be at BM in a few years time, but he’s committing to a 5 year contract. He’ll be the focal point in the majority of teams (bar maybe City), can’t see how Tuchel is a pull.
Obviously he's not going there just because of Tuchel.

It's utterly bizarre though - the cold feet narrative really doesn't help endear him to Bayern. Imagine your record signing apparently not being certain he wants to play for you when you consider yourself one of the biggest clubs around.

Do I want Harry to leave? No!

Do I want an end to this prolonged shitshow? Yes!

It's not fucking fair on Ange having all this shit go on a few days before we play our opening game of the season. Add in the news re Richarlison likely being out/needing an op and his options up top are Son (hasn't played much pre season), Véliz (permitting his WP has come through and has never played in the Prem) and Scarlett (not ready yet).

The press conference tomorrow will be a shambles when all the media will care about is whether or not Harry is staying. We need an answer as to what is happening before that press conference tomorrow. There is clearly so much going on behind the scenes currently and I appreciate it isn't straightforward, but for this to happen a few days before our opener when most fans were starting to feel optimistic about the season is nothing short of a disgrace!
Completely agree. Shock yet another new Managers start to the season being sabotaged due to our approach to transfer dealings...

That being said the last minute injury to Richy is pretty bad luck.

Sonny will likely go up top and Solomon or Perisic LW which isn't the end of the world at all but if Kane goes and Richy needs an op then we have to close a deal for Obran etc asap to help Ange out.

I'd imagine he was hoping for one of the Manchester clubs.
Oh I see. Thing is though that he would have known that DL wouldn't have sold him to either so that was always a non starter. His options this window were really PSG or BM.

We don't really know what's going on behind the scenes though.

Agreed! Honestly think that Levy has to sit next to Ange at the press conference tomorrow and answer the media questions.

Surely they'll be told not to ask questions about Kane?

No-one will be 'celebrating' just knowing that we'd be getting £100mil now rather than £0 and he leaves to a PL rival next summer.

We all want him to stay but if he is 100% going to leave on a free next summer to strengthen a PL rival then certainly not the worst outcome if we sell him now to Bayern for £100mil.

If anyone is celebrating as a Spurs fan it will be the fact the whole saga is finally over and we as fans and Ange can all fully focus on the season ahead, no-one will be celebrating that we've just sold our greatest ever goalscorer.

I'd certainly be happy with a fresh start, and like I said this summer feels as good a time as possible to do the move (Ange rebuild) but I just can't bring myself to will it.

Crap timing so close to the opening game tho!

I'd just rather take that 5-10% punt that we have a great season and he either stays or goes to Madrid or Barca.

I think people are letting their head rule due to the fear of him going to a PL rival when Bayern could easily end up selling him back in a year or two anyway. Just look how quickly they binned off Mane.

I'd rather us take risks and back ourselves, which is why I'm finding Ange's philosophy of football so refreshing. Yeah it might blow up but at least we'll be giving it a proper go!

End of the day the badge on the front is king, and whatever happens with Kane I'm hoping we can all enjoy our football more next season.

Nothing like a tranquil pre-season eh!
