They say that a picture is worth a 1000 words, so a GIF should be worth at least 5000.

The next time a journalist needs to publish a Harry Kane story, they should just post this instead:

My assumption with the back and forth is that, the ITK's we heard it from that bid's were accepted are probably really close to the situation but the media is typically a bit delayed (due to the purpose of yielding more narrative, more need to continue watching and more revenue)

So I wouldn't be surprised if what we're hearing from media now is actually news from before the weekend's ITK and now what they shared is going to slowly start taking shape.

I hope I'm wrong though and it is fresh twists and he stays.

Honestly, my take is nobody outside of the boardroom at Spurs knows what is happening and while I am sure everything is in good faith I can't imagine Levy letting much about the Kane situation out. If he doesn't know what he is going to do nobody else could.

Don't think anyone said they were accepted. But the value was an acceptable amount I think. It might be stupid add ons that we don't think will happen and not enough up front that meant we rejected it, or any number of reasons to be fair!

I would like to hope levy keeps adding on an extra 10 million each time they do something stupid in the media, but doubt that happens.

I do largely agree with that.

BUT if the availability of alternatives is a factor in whether to accept an offer from Bayern, then recruitment staff are going to be asked to suggest names and explore whether they would come etc. So people internally will reach their own conclusions as to how likely losing Kane is and then probably share those thoughts with outsiders

Then, of course, you would expect us to be making contingency plans whether we are close to accepting an offer or not.

Kane's in a win-win situation so he doesn't need to push for a move (which he has said).

So it's entirely up to Ange as to whether he believes we are a better team with our current squad and Harry or the transfer fee and further players in.
At the start of the window I would have believed re-investing Kane's fee was our best bet but having seen our pre-season, added to the players we have bought in, I think we may be better off keeping him now and rolling the dice that a potential CL spot would offset our loss on him.

Has he? People keep saying what he's supposed to have said, but I haven't heard him say anything recently about his future.

If Harry ends up staying, the club should send the ‘shirt journalist’ a pair of Y-fronts with his name printed on them, suitably soiled with crunchy peanut butter.

If it was me, I'd be highly unimpressed that Bayern have very publicly said they want me, but they aren't actually prepared to pay what it takes to get me. Hardly a ringing endorsement. Put up or shut up.
But how could they know that the Spurs chairman has a reputation for demanding every single penny?

Re: the Ornstein article.

Interesting looking at the current news cycle it with the view it could all be PR.

On the one hand if he ends up going at the end of the week it will definitely look like Levy screwed the best possible deal out of Bayern. Well done Daniel (COYS).

On the other it could be giving people like myself more hope of him staying to the point where I'll be more annoyed if he leaves now that I was last weekend, regardless of final fee. Naughty Daniel (COYS). #ENICOUT purple ball gold ball

funny how the brain of a spurs supporter works if this headline was about a player we were trying to sign I would file it in the we tried but never going to happen bin. But because its someone coming for our star man I am shitting myself still.

Just seen a video with Davies and Son getting on the plane to Barca, so that's the narrative that the starters from Sunday aren't travelling blown out of the water.
They also don’t have partners who are potentially about to give birth any second now in fairness
