I understand that tapping up happens, it's part of football, but as far as I'm concerned morals come into play and you don't publicly speak about that player until you get him. These comments show bayern for who they really are. If I was Levy, I'd get someone to publicly say we don't deal with clubs who behave like this.

I assume he meant Muani as a big enough name to replace Mbappe as opposed to Kane.

I think where PSG are positioning themselves now, Muani would make more sense as I think they are steering away from being the French Galactico's.

I'd call it optimism, rather than being denial.

I think Kane's preferred option would be to stay at a competitive Spurs, so if the club can make that happen this season, he may well sign that extension.
I also think that the whole City debacle a couple of years ago taught him a thing or two.

As much as there's a seeming media drive to get him away from Spurs, a fair few respected ex pros have voiced the opinion that he should stay.
I don't think it's as clear cut as some, that he's wanting to leave.
The phrase competitive Spurs is spot on mate 👍

Think he got that from this

Possibly a translation/meaning thing. I think what he's saying is that Kane has said he wants to join Bayern, but that if he stays [with Spurs for the final year of his contract] they will get him on a free next year regardless and we will have no choice. Which is true.

I'd love it if Levy just named a price, just to watch Munich squirm.

130m, and it escalates every time they open their fat mouth.

It might be true but others will be in the mix and they’re not guaranteed to get him in a years time

Honestly to me it just sounds like they have spoken with Charlie and his dad, and Bayern have been given assurances that Kane would go to Bayern.

It is probably even likely that it is Kane's preference to leave this summer.

But, its hard to imagine a worse way to negotiate with Levy - since he appears to be willing to let Kane walk for nothing than be shown up in public.

But, this is why it is critical that Kane and Levy have an honest conversation about his future. We can't afford to have this hanging over the team all season, and have him walk away for free next summer.

Honestly we should release a public statement tonight saying that usually we would never comment on baseless transfer speculation but as a certain club can't remain professional we will make an exception.

That club know the price and if they can't meet it maybe they should look elsewhere instead of whining to the media.

Can’t see those quotes going down well with Levy or Kane to be honest.

Levy doesn’t take kindly to being strong armed like that.

If reports are to be believed and Kane doesn’t want to taint his relationship with the fans this doesn’t really chime well with that either.

Personally I’d tell them they have ten days to pony up £150 million or they can fuck off back to Noddy land.

Got to be reporting them to uefa now, they have history of doing this kind of thing before.

bayern might be the big dogs in Germany but their turnover is no different to ours and we play in the premier league.

Uli really doesnt know what he is dealing with here.

From the pic that’s with the quote he looks like he’s had a few.

It is them all over. I said it at the start. They are arrogant bullies used to pushing everyone around in their league.

Daft from Bayern. Everyone knows ‘tapping up’ happens, but you don’t say it out loud. Not sure these quotes will go down well with the Kane camp either

Is Uli Hoeness actually in a power position at the club or is he some novelty mascot figure now? They seem to have enough board members to fill out a full playing squad
