The England captain has netted 17 goals in 25 games for the Lilywhites this season despite a lack of service from the players behind him.

The lad should have been in from the start of the season. Could either play as a 10 or a double 8:

He was injured most of his first three months so it's hardly surprising he didn't feature much under Poch.

But I do think the chances of Poch still being here would've been much higher with a fit GLC all season. He is absolute quality and was our only player really showing it before the lockdown hit.

Personally I prefer him in the deeper position as opposed to just behind the main striker. Suits his passing range imo and he has the work rate to be effective there too

Funny, I actually think my original expectations of how he and Ndombele should play together has swapped. Ndombele is better in the final third and Lo Celso better deeper.

You knows it, claart.

(as I'm sure some of you have noticed and are curious - yes, I will be posting "you knows it, claart" in every thread about him and, yes, that is him in my avatar because I think he's going to be pretty important for us when we get these shenanigans back underway)

All the quotes are about 4 months old so the entire story is essentially "Kane will be able to play with Lo Celso now. That is good."

Yeah I’m of a similar mindset but still don’t think we’ve seen enough of n’dombele on the pitch to work out where he’ll fit in with the other players we have

Could not be better put especially re: Ndombele. He seems tailor made for the number 10 role with his eye for a pass and decent eye for goal.
