Even better getting our deals done in January so we can actually use them for the rest of the campaign.

Chelsea, the team that spent millions fighting against a transfer ban and being successful with their case to get it lifted for January didn't actually use that window to strengthen their squad. Still envious of their actions over the last couple of months?

I'm envious of a rival club getting their summer transfer business well underway in February.

I did not say "Damn, I wish we were Chelsea".

But you knew that.

Not good news, will most likely be really good for them. But it's going to happen, it's the Prem, the top clubs are going to be signing good players. Is a chance he doesn't adapt like expected, but Id be lying if I said I wouldn't have been thrilled if we signed him.

So with him coming to CFC, what will happen to Pulisic? Obviously that he didn’t pan out right for them. Hudson-Odoi back in the game after the injury. Slim choices

Absolute bargain for them and we should have been all over it. Amazing how clubs get deals done months before the window opens and in June while we usually wait until late August because “difficult when international duty is going on”, “difficult after”,“clubs want too much until the last week”, etc. I guess thats the difference between ambitious clubs and those that pretend to be but are actually content staying still.

Bet you have this written in a document somewhere, ready to past it whenever you get a chance.

Is this not more of a January transfer that is hugely late, rather than a summer transfer that's been done hugely early?

Pulisec has been out injured for a few weeks now and suffered a 'setback' around a week or so ago. before the injury he was playing quite well and scoring a few goals.

I expected him to end up at Arsenal so the fact that he is going to Chelsea who he is likely to improve less isn't so bad.

I'd love us to get amongst an early signing like this.

Getting deals done early can be a good thing yes but it's not the norm to do so and whilst I think Ziyech is a good move for them I don't envy them tying it up so soon.

Given the goings on of us and Chelsea over the last month in the transfer market, I'd take our movements over theirs all day long.

He may seem a good signing but he will be 27 when he signs for Chelsea, a big risk signing a player of that age from such a weak league.

It could take him 2 years to settle, I can see why we stayed away.

But Chelsea don't give a crap about that sort of thinking, if he does hit the ground running he will be bargain.

I know I'm being really really thick here, but how the fuck can Chelsea be signing players two weeks after the window has shut? Is he out of contract or something? I'm not really sure if it's possible to hate Chelsea any more than I already do, but they make it very easy to help me.

They have signed him but he won't join until the summer window.

You realise Chelsea fans were absolutely furious at their lack of January business, right?

Deals? Clubs? Whats with the plurals? What other transfers have been done for the summer that means we are so out of touch with the rest of the PL?

There has only been a handful of these over the years that happen outside of the window and the only clubs that would be receptive to deals like this would be the likes of Ajax whose whole MO is to develop players and sell when their stock is high. It's laughable that people think the club do nothing all year round and then scramble around on day one to start planning
