I don't understand why no one signed him previously when his alleged transfer clause for 25m was in place? I reckon Mourinho would prefer him to Poch though so maybe there's some legs in this.

Doubts about his past injuries.

Doubts about his past injuries.

I’m sure we had ITK that said Poch didn’t think he worked hard enough... which is odd considering everyone in the Ajax XI work their arses off for each other. It only takes one player to drag his heels and the team work ethic crashes... yet this doesn’t happen at Ajax.

Yes please. He’d suit the Mourinho formation IMO. Son on one side, Ziyech on the other.

Probably won’t happen though.

Just done some basic sums based on what I'm guessing we need and who we're linked with. Yeah - this is never happening.

Not really too odd in the grand scheme - ITK has linked Poch with turning down a lot of players who went on to be more than good enough for us, and he hasn't ever had a good record with spotting/signing players to contradict that. Pretty strange, but that's how it is with some managers - Wenger rejected nearly every Baloon D'or nominee from the past 20 years when they were teenagers.

One of the most underrated players in world football. Unreal technical ability and a lethal finisher. I think he would be able to break into the starting XI at most clubs in the world. Would be a fantastic signing.

Strikes me as one of those players who could come in and have a 'relatively' quick impact. Has the feeling of someone like Salah when Liverpool first signed him, Mahrez, or Payet when he had that excellent season when West Ham signed him. Not saying he is like any of those players as such, but in terms of the impact he could have, the potential is there. Surprised no-one has jumped on him before now.

This seems like such a no brainer, can't believe no prem team has gone for him.

Maybe there is a behind the scenes issue?

Would be perfect down the right hand side and to help provide for Dele, Sonny and Kane.
Hard worker but also hugely creative.
We‘ve got a lot of good finishers, now what we need is someone to thread the pass which is what he excels at. Also plays in a position where an upgrade would make sense as Lucas hasn’t quite done enough (but of course RB and CM pllllllz Levy)

Would be perfect for us.

Sure Mr. Too Skint to Get a Hair Transplant in Turkey doesn't think the same.
