As a fan of Bordeaux (I lived there for a bit), i tend to watch their games if they're on, especially last season when they won the title. In my opinion, Chamakh is pants, I'm not worried about the arse signing him. Goucuff on the other hand is absolute class! I think he was at Milan where he was being lined up as the new Kaka but spent most of his time on the bench, he was loaned to Bordeaux where he was pivotal in them winning the title so signed permanently. I would cream my pants if we signed him...

PS I don't know if this is the right place to put this, Mods please put this where it should go, i won't be offended...

as long as Wenger keeps signing attacking players then we stand a chance of usurping them given their deficiencies at the back. I'm glad he cant see the massive hole in that team

hope it don't happen. Milan are pretty stupid, they should have put a buy-back clause in his contract.. he was always gonna be a decent player at least, and he's exceeded those expectations.

good player, but not exactly who Arsenal need considering its probably their best equipped position. Also if he signs its surely as a replacement of Fabregas

Would love to bring him in. Watched him come on as a sub twice in Milan when I went over to visit my Auntie years back and although everyone said it, I knew he would be a quality player.

Would hate Arsenal to get him. Doubt they would though having got Arshavin last season and they are both AMC (R/L) style players.

Agreed. Even though Fabregas is not known for his defensive abilities he was far better suited in the CM than Gourcuff. Gourcuff is much more in the Arshavin mold, AMC/Winger who can also play upfront so Song, even though vey good, will be left all alone fair too often.

This is of course if Arsenal only buy him once Fabregas leaves, which I can see being the only situation.
