After Danny Roses magnificent volley against the filthy scum. Everyone seems to be claiming it as 'goal of the season'.

What other contenders are there so far?

Manuel Figueroa's vs. Stoke was quality. I loved Modric's vs. Everton (not that it'll win or be close to GOTS in anyway)

Rodallega's goal in the very first week of the season is right up there too imo.

It's got to be goal of the season so far. Not only was it an amazing volley, but the occassion too. A 19 year olds League debut in a massive North London Derby. It doesn't come much better than that.

Easily the goal of the season imo. How many goals do you see scored like that? The way the he kept the ball under control, unreal strike.

Figs for Wigs is the only contender IMO, for sheer ridiculousness of it.

Ekotto in the first game of the season
Huddlestone v Sunderland was a good one too
Fabregas free kick v Villa was good.
Jerome v Liverpool was a cracker too.

This one, though hardly goal of the season, is never the less very good.

That's an awesome goal from Maynard - love the way he just waves briefly then collects the ball & gets on with it.

We have scored some great goals this season. I also love the Defoe hat-trick goal v Hull. The Kranjcar 2nd goal v City was classy too. Not goals of the season, but great goals for sure.

I was reading a blog in the Guardian - Someone said Danny Rose's goal would be a typical "one-off wonder debut" goal then he'd never again get another.

Someone else followed up with "Like Wayne Rooney's then?"

Rooney's Arsenal goal wasn't on his debut. He had played about 10 games before that goal.

Also just found out Brazillian Maicon's first name is Douglas. Made me LOL.
