Has anyone got any recent experience of getting the tube at Tottenham Hale after an evening game? For getting to Victoria station... is it still quick or is there now a massive queue? And how long did it take you to walk from WHL to Tottenham Hale? Thanks for any info...

May I ask where you travel to Victoria from?

The amount of people I know who travel in to Victoria when there are better options, is staggering!

If you really need to be somewhere quick then sadly your best bet is to leave at about 82 mins and get on at WHL or NP. If you don't want to go to Liv St or East London then change at Seven sisters

As I live in East London I stay until the very end, queue for a piss and then go somewhere like the Bricklayers for a couple while the queue for the station goes down

You're welcome (y)

Fucks sake. I miss the old ground, because I'd get maybe a few dozen at Tottenham Hale with me, and it was a doddle. Now every bugger goes there. I've resorted to having a couple in the pub to give the queues time to drop down.

I don’t travel to Victoria. I usually get a train home from WHL. I posted the question because unusually I will have to get to Victoria (no option or I wouldn’t have gone there!) after an evening game and it’s not a route I’m used to.

that’s why what I actually wanted to know was about the queueing time at Tottenham Hale, which I don’t usually use

At last season's evening game v Brighton, I left my seat at the very top row in the South Stand on 86mins. Just as I was about to disappear down the exit Eriksen scored the winner (88mins).

The last knocking's of Injury time was still being played as I exited the ground - at which point I jogged the mile and a half or so to Tottenham Hale. No queue, the tube was empty, hardly anyone got on at Seven Sisters, and I arrived at Waterloo Station 10mins before my mate who'd left the ground 5mins before I did.

Tip? jog to Tottenham Hale (I'm 67, so more than doable for the able bodied).

Tottenham Hale is on fire, smells of poo and will make your genitals fall off. Avoid at all costs.

I leave around 90 when the injury time comes up

A brisk walk to Seven Sisters (20/25mins) never a queue as long as the tubes are running ok. 20mins to Victoria. Lovely jubbly

Only time it’s been a pain in the ass is when I’ve stayed a couple of times, 30mins or so, for a pint and then gone to the tube. Bloody nightmare then, crowds of those 1 time tourists and occasionals everywhere

I guess it's pot luck really.
Only been twice since the stadium opened, and used Seven Sisters both times.
Each time I left as soon as full time whistle went and had no problem with queue/crowd at SS.
