Good for him. Can't see any top Italian teams wanting to pay for him.

Juve are definitely keeping an eye on the situation. They already targeted him last summer before Ronaldo suddenly became available and will likely do so again for this season (especially if Higuain is sold) or next season when their strikers are in their mid 30s. A 20+ goals a season striker on a relative discount hitting his prime who has been an absolute nightmare for Juve's defence is not something they'll ignore (even with all the baggage)

Good luck with that one! If they want to spunk their wad on Pepe then have at it lads. It's been poo pooed by their number one public ITK anyway

Yep. And when you look at the stories coming out of Arsenal regarding their transfer plans, such a move for Pepe and for that amount makes zero sense.

So they have a very limited budget and are dithering on the Saliba deal but they’re able to slam down 80mil for Pepe?

Someone is telling porkies.

Maguire to United looks like it's going to happen now. Should OGS be able to set them up right they should be much sterner defensively.
I think they are a solid midfielder away from having a well rounded squad. The question will remain whether Solskjaer can get a tune out of them though.

very strange affair
personally, I think he's bang average/way overpriced!

I honestly haven't seen much of him, but his scoring stats and winners medals seem good to very good.

Scored important goals in AM's Europa League win and the World Cup Final, as well as being named man of the match in the same game.

Might not be a stella talent compared to Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe, etc, but I doubt he's 'bang-average'.

He may be overpriced though...

bang average was maybe a tad ott.
his price is a very odd thing indeed, but Barcelona are a law unto themselves
