Most surprised about Matip and Rabiot. I presume Rabiot's Mum is the problem and Matip is still good enough for the PL.

I heard they were still in a Ticketmaster-style queue waiting to get through.

Matip is currently 677,342 in the queue. Rabiot slightly ahead at 596,448.

Didn't Hummels effectively retire?

I think i saw that Navas is training with his home town Costa Rican team and people think he will do some time there and then retire.

Surprised that none of the teams down the table kicked the tires on Depay or Martial. If Ayew is still playing for Palace you would figure someone would sound one of them out.

I thought Hummels had retired as well but maybe I'd imagined that. As for Martial and Depay I can only assume they're looking for silly money. Don't know what Depay was on but wasn't Martial earning stupid money at United? As in several times what any sane club would pay him?

They have had a massive squad overhaul. Only 11 of their 24 man squad were at the club last season.

Yeah there were rumours a few years back that he messaged a young girl on TikTok which was denied but he also crashed his car while apparently inhaling laughing gas at the wheel and went to court for it.

Seems talented but very thick. Enough to make people think twice about signing him I guess.
