That Yoro transfer has the potential to be another big disaster. He looks like he still has loads of flaws. 50m!

He did well in the euros and was still full of running so they might get a good 1-2 seasons out of him.
Of all the players to move to Saudi and take that cash I never read any criticism of him unlike so many of the others who went there and were called out for it. Shows how much of a media darling he is and what they are willing to ignore if they like you.

United are having a great window. Very worrying for our ambitions next year
Meh I'm not worried - that club is a total mess and their manager is nothing to get bothered about. They always spend a fortune and for the last decade it's still been a shambles.

The CB is 18 and from what I've read he didn't want to go to man utd but was pressured to by his club who said they wouldn't play him if he turned down the move and then by his family as well.
No one offered anywhere near the cash man utd did which says alot. He may turn out to be a quality player but that fee for an 18 year old is a hell of a gamble.
With zirkzee he has 13 goals in 53 games for Bologna, not exactly frightening numbers.
Combine that with how ETH has been undermined this summer and I can't see man utd doing much this season.

On paper they are two great signings with Yoro a potential mainstay in that defence for years to come such is his talent.

However, it's how they will be developed/utilised now and with the price tag and added expectation on Yoro's shoulders he may well get stunted as opposed to say Saliba who could be nurtured out on loan into maturity and then slot in regularly to a top team looking to compete.

If we had signed Zirkzee I would have been underwhelmed somewhat. I liked Ugarte at Lisbon but he didn't seem to fit the Enrique plans so they were willing to sell

I swear we, as fans, never used to get so depressed and upset over other clubs signings.

Only natural for people to get twitchy when direct competition makes signings and we're not hearing anything of progress from our deals. Particularly given we've just found out Richarlison isnt going to be fit any time soon so we don't really have a centre forward. Still 4 weeks til the season starts but obviously pre season is underway and the clock is ticking down.

I'm not depressed. Im aware they are a direct competitor so I'm viewing it as a spurs fan who wants to challenge for trophies and seeing a direct competitor make a series of signings I think are pretty good.

Villa have just re-signed Jadon Philogene from Hull....another good signing for them! (n) With the sell on fee they inserted when they sold him to Hull a year ago it means they've only paid £13.5M

Is he really that good? His defensive stats are underwhelming to say the least. Fair enough he is only 18 but the money they paid is crazy.
