Chelsea confirm Dewsbury-Hall.

I'd be incredibly underwhelmed if I was a Chelsea fan. He didn't show anything when he was in the PL to make me think he was worth a gamble. Decent season last season but we all know how much of a step-up the Premier League is.

My (somehow, somewhat sensible) Chelsea mate has backed this move because he said for once it feels that they are backing the manager in terms of a fit in his system... so I guess I kind of see that. But... they also buy every player under the sun so...

It's just another Chelsea thing that makes no sense because D-H seems very much like a signing for the manager but that seems to be the complete opposite of what they've been doing since Todd came in.
Such a weird club.

Wait until Chelsea sack Maresca and Dewsbury-Hall is left in no mans land while the new manager is told to play Lavia, Enzo and Caicedo.

Arsenal in for Califiori ... unfortunately think that'll most likely happen after United seemingly all in on De Ligt.

I find it odd that he doesn't just retire. He doesn't seem to want to play football, yet he agrees to go to another club. He's on a bit of a winning streak though, so OGC Nice might just win the league.

If someone is daft enough to pay him, he’ll carry on ‘playing’.

Of course he will, what else is he going to do to get such easy money?
He's got enough talent so that someone will always back themselves to be able to get it out of him, whether they can or not is a different matter but Tanguy won't care, as long as he's getting paid some more.

If money was all that mattered to him, he would still be with us for another season.

He got paid off, but apparently took a cut. What Nice pay him probably cover the difference.

I doubt he left us for free, I’m sure he had kind of pay off
Of course, but I'm sure he would have earned more on his contract with us.

But either way, it's good for both us and him that he's gone.
