Obviously I’m a fan of us signing Brazilian players, but an 18 year old winger who’s 5”8 and slim built and who has only 1 goal in 34 games for Palmeiras is not the sort of signing we should be making.

He needs a year or two playing in Portugal or maybe France and then seeing if his potential develops. He doesn’t look ready for the PL for me.

He was talking about Sesko to Arsenal.

Oops replied to the wrong message. Point still applies re. Luis Guilherme though.
I wasn’t saying we should get Guilherme. We are not in a position to spend 30 + mil on a player that will likely need one or two seasons to adapt and develop before playing a significant role. I’d still find it surprising if he ended up at West Ham.

Sesko really completes their team. Absolute bargain as well. Man City best have a good summer.
According to Sky Germany (no idea if they are about as reliable as our SKY Sports), Sesko's release clause has increased to 64m, and RBL wont sell for any less.

Still a bargain for one of the world's best young centre forwards. We paid that for Ndombele 5 years ago

Just seen this!

That’s a fucking coup and a half if they get him but after Estevao leaving I didn’t think they’d be open to selling Guilherme!

Jeez….

Could be Palmeiras selling lemons. I'm not sure I haven't seen any of these players play aside from Endrick but wouldn't surprise me if Chelsea and West Ham buy duds. Madrid seem to do their homework though.

What's he said?
Moved my reply to a more appropriate thread.

Only given Greenwood loads of posts of publicity in a way he doesn't do for other players. Like there's no way in hell he'd make these sorts of posts about any other mid table LaLiga side's POTS. He's using Greenwood to drive his own engagement farming.

I like Luis Guilherme, think he's a super talent BUT I do agree that there is some weaknesses there that would need time.

Firstly, his decision-making needs a lot of work. Sometimes he'll dribble well and take on 1 or 2 players but then can't execute the final action.

Also, he is prone to being pushed off the ball at times, which a more intense league would cause him problems.

I agree that he needs a lighter league first to work on that.

Still, if he does overcome those aspects, he can become a huge player.

One thing I've noticed with a lot of these Twitter/YT scouts is that they don't really approach the scouting with a neutral point of view.

What I mean by that is they see the player do something exciting and that's it, he's the next best thing and they massively big them up and brush over most concerns the player may show. If you've only caught a bit of the player or YT highlights, then you may buy into what they are selling.

I can guarantee that scouts in clubs don't behave like that, they are much more balanced and will really scrutinise the concerns.

The only player I feel is worth the excitement and getting carried away is Estevão.

Wessley, Luis Guilherme...they have HUGE potential but they also have significant weaknesses that could derail them.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, one of PSG's priority targets this summer, confirmed to the capital club his desire to join France. Paris must now find an agreement with Naples. Not an easy task...

They have no money yet promised Conte €230m spend. The bulk of that will come from selling Osimhen & Kvara.

There's no way he's be a starter there, right? I thought that was the reason he didn't want to join us.
