And Estevão has everything to become the world's best player, a genuine wonder once in a generation talent.

Abel Ferreira said he's never seen anything like him before aand in the few games he's played this season he's already made a massive difference/impact.

I sincerely hope he doesn't go there.

For our sakes, and maybe his own.

A club shouldn't just be allowed to hoover up all the talent and hope 2 or 3 turn out to be gems.

Problem is Chelsea have a big name here in Brazil. Undeservedly and Corinthians ex-technical academy coach is now scout for Chelsea.

So of course, the way they are run, all they need to do is tap into his knowledge of the u20 bases and hoover them up.

They have signed Deivid Washington, Andre Santos and Angelo - all huge u20 talents, in the hope 1 or 2 turn up golden.

It fucking stinks and the players are being swayed by agents who see this as a huge pay day and chance to see their prospect at a top club.

I hope Estavão's people suggest staying at Palmeiras and holding out for Barca
I completely completely forgot about Washington. Like completely.

Such a joke. But as long as the players keep saying yes and they see no retribution for the unbridled spending then it will keep on happening. No chance they give the kids the chance to develop tho. Will end up sitting in the youth team then going out on loan with buy options probably.

Shame if he wastes his career at that dump

Just losing all hope with certain aspects of the game.

These top talents should be spread across teams. You'd get far more entertaining games/competitions.

And I'd FFP and sustainability isn't doing anything to prevent or discourage this, then fuck it, I can't be arsed.

Cheats will prevail

Fucks sake.

How are they even able to do this (financially).
On the one hand you read stories about them needing to sell Gallagher for cheap by June and on the other they are agreeing deals for youngsters who won’t even join for another year. I don’t get it.

Do "youth" players count towards psr or can they be written off like women? Wouldn't surprise me if chelsea have managed to exploit another loophole.

That's what I was thinking.

Maybe they have put the major part of the fee into next year's accounts or something too?

They have to find the money first.

If he's that good mate no way do Real and Barca not come in for him if they feel he'll go elsewhere.

I speculated a while ago that Barca might flip Vitor Roque so that they could sign Estevao. I still think that could happen

they can be spread around the clubs as long as other clubs are willing to spend and take a punt. Unfortunately it seems that only Chelsea are willing to do so.
