If I were him I’d squeeze every penny I could out of my career. Life isn’t all about money, but family and friends are a factor. as well as the risk of a major injury.
Thats true, but as I've learned money isn't everything Spurgs. Priorities mate. I'm sure you will agree.

Maybe, maybe not. I heard dele earns as much through image rights etc than his wages. So who knows? Bale coming back to the prem would be utter madness regarding advertising and image rights. He’s top 5/6 in the world.

What are we talking about when we say image rights? You will have certain club affiliated sponsors that will use players in some of their promotional material. The club will then pay the player 'image rights' for this work. Paying this way reduces the amount of tax the club and player has to pay. As it is not considered paye.
These are seperate from individual deals that players might have with certain brands. Dele with lucazade etc...

Marca spouts Real Madrid's BS at times. But consider this - There is nothing else to gain here for RM with this story. The story is obviously a leak but doesnt mean there is no truth in it. Bale situation is crystal clear - Fans don't want him , media gunning for him, Zidane doesnt want him. So Madrid has to get him out.

But whats the option ?

i) Chelsea - transfer ban
ii) Juve & Bayern -most transfers already done
iii) Barca - no deal possible
iv) Liverpool - Financially both of us are on same footing
v) City- Cant see Pep going for him or City strategy to buy a player like him
vi) United - Only plausible insane desperate club who can buy a player like him -but even they have to shit out salary of Sanchez, Pogba etc

For us, it makes sense why we want him back.
Question ofcourse on financials - For any deal to be possible, Bale has to take a huge pay cut.

I’m not gonna lie mate, I have no idea. Just have on very very good authority that he made or makes as much if not more off the pitch than on actual wages. This is passed on not directly but through people who know his step dad. ( my cousin ) ?

PSG already in trouble this summer. They literally cannot spend anything. Just look at their signings of late - Herrera on free , another 2 free transfers + 16m on Sarabia. Already sold 50m+ And they still short for FFP.

Thats certainly a possible. It also depends on the player.
And lets not forget while i talk of the the "Player" taking a hit on wages etc for happiness, lets not forget the greedy agent wanting his cut to be maintained. These days that's paramount.

Wish I knew more, our families fell out about 10 years ago so we don’t see that side much anymore apart from funerals etc. Then we saw my cuz in the news with dele. Parents have met him. Fucking gutted being a Spurs fan and being so close but so far away lol.

He probably does but that would be from his own deals (addidas, paco robane etc...) but they are not image rights that he will get from the club.

Forgetting financials and just on would he be the right sorta player to bring into our team. It might upset some players nonsense. If we had of had him on the bench to bring on in the cl final would that result be different concidering what he did to liverpool the year before. I think quite possibly. Thats y players like bale get big wages and i personally think if a man like that joins yer team the players would love it.

I'm sure they would get money aswell if they are swapping bale for neymar.

We'd all love him back if money wasn't an issue. Unfortunately in the real world money matters a hell of a lot.

Like I said, I’m not savvy to much other than building lol. Guessing if he moved back to the uk tho he would get a lot more deals? Everyone would be clambering over him. The return of Bale would be massive! ?

Bale wont earn £300k a week from image rights with us.

Bale earns $11m on endorsements with Nissan Motor, Konami and Foot Locker. His Adidas deal is valued at $24m over 6 years so around total each year is $15m not far off $300k a week. With the Adidas deal due to expire in 2020 and him potentially being in the PL he could command a potentially higher fee as one of the bigger profile players in the league now with hazard gone, pogba potentially due to go. Now the only issue I see here is Man U if I recall Pogba got a massive incentment to go there by Adidas could the same happen here or could nike try and get him on their books and swing it back to us.

Think you are being optimistic there. He's probably tied up with every sponsor he can be already. Real madrid are the most successful team in the world, moving to us wouldn't raise his profile.

Those endorsements have nothing to do with image rights.
