Where are Baines and Michu?

And Welbeck has scored 2 goals in 30+ appearances.

Cannot believe that Hazard has been nominated, When players like Michu, Baines and even Lambert have been left out!!

This is the one thats voted for at Christmas and always seems a bit out of date when it's announced right? Has to be Van Persie then.

Bit of a joke that Hazard has been nominated over Cazorla and Michu

Just to add, pleased to see Carrick there, good to see him finally getting some recognition.

What a joke these awards have become! How can Welbeck possibly be nominated. He has 1 goal in the league this year and he's a forward. And Wilshere has barely even played this year. Then there's Hazard who is possibly one of the most inconsistent performers in the league. On his day he's amazing but those come few and far between. Congrats to Carrick for finally getting some recognition, though I don't think he deserved to win it

I always thought Wellbeck is soooooo overated. Is the award not for the calender year i.e. Jan to Dec???

#1 Mata for me. Good all season, top assists in the prem and always a danger.
Second i'd go for Suarez, hate the way he goes about his business but cannot deny that he has been in great form all season.
Third is a tie between Bale and RVP. Both had really hot spells and both had a fair few quiet games. I think both show less consistency than Mata and Suarez hence they are runners up.

Kids award..... Benteke? New to the league and scored plenty of goals for a poor team, deserves to get some recognition for that.

Michu should have had a nomination above Hazard - i agree

Overated yes but in fairness to him his job is to run defences down and create the holes for rooney and RVP which he has done very well this year. It's not all about goals.

Carrick, Hazard and Suarez shouldn't be on the list. One is a poor imitation of Paul Scholes, one has been amazing in patches and none existent too and the last one is everyones favourite biting, diving, racist Uruguayan.

For some reason, this infamous Simpsons clip comes to mind

Suarez has been one of the top 6 players in the league this year. That is what the vote is for. Any past controversies are entirely irrelevent to this award and he shouldn't be excluded for them.

Gareth Bale will be ahead in the vote until late on when the voters 'choke' on the election run-in or Hazard wins it by picking up the 'Pelican faced **** of the year award' after beating Ronaldo home and away at FIFA and then beating Messi in the final on penalties after going down to 5 men and being 4-0 down during the shoot out.

True Tottenham style.

I very much wish we still had Michael Carrick to hold our team together.

Also quite surprised to see no City representatives - Aguero? Tevez?

neither are deserving of being on the list. nastasic should be on the young players.

The fact that they have no nominations for POTY really sums up their season. Considering the squad they have they are a disaster. Mancini is a joke imo too.

Its just frustrating because they have so many players which dont get regular games that would really complete our squad.

Maybe not but their no less deserving than most others on the list. And I for one am glad Aguero probably wont be making the trip down to us
