Got to be hoping we can add an extra +4 on the Burnley and Wolves (Swansea) games, if we can match the other results we're looking really good.

Due to a bit of free time (stinking cold when in Tenerife) I’ve done what I can via my iPad, not sure if the spreadsheet link has loaded as 1st time I’ve tried with an iPad. Could someone view it and let me know. One of the tables need a data sort and will do it when I get home

I believe Man City were on 52 points after 18 games last season so comparison should be -8?

if every team in the normal top 6 was to match last seasons results the final table would look like this at the end of the season

Pos Top 6 Final Table Tot
1 ….Man C ….97
2 ….Liverpool ….90
3 ….Tottenham ….87
4 ….Man U ….74
5 ….Chelsea ….73
6 ….Arsenal ….73

Man City can only improve on 2 matches away to C Palace and Burnley

Liverpool can improve on 7 matches Man U, Everton, Fulham & Newcastle away, with Burnley, us, & Chelsea at home. only 1 of those was a loss last season which was away to Man u

we have the chance to improve on 5 more matches Fulham (WBA), Southampton, Liverpool & Man C away 2 of which where defeats WBA and Man City. only 1 home match needs to be improved Wet Spam

Man U have the chance to improve on 5 more matches us, Leicester, & Huddersfield away, with Southampton and Man City at home.3 of those were loses us, Huddersfield and Man C.

Chelsea have the chance to improve on 9, Arsenal, Man C, Everton, Liverpool & Man U away. they have Huddersfield, us, Spam and Burnley at home. 4 of those were loses Man C, us, Burnley and Man U

Arsenal have the chance to improve on 8, Spam, Man C, us, Wolves, Watford & Leicester away. Chelsea and Man U at home. 6 of those where loses Man C, us, Man U, Wolves, Watford & Leicester

Honestly think I would take that if offered. United being in the CL might be a bit more precarious in regards to Poch, but then again they might view Ole as having over-achieved and give him the permanent role.

It's a completely different season of course so it's all up for grabs, but I reckon if we can just ensure we have CL for the first full season in the new stadium that's got to be the primary objective. A trophy would be nice. Liverpool not winning anything would be nice. Arsenal 15 points below us would be nice. But that's just the icing on the cake imo.

as things stand we can only improve in 4 games for the rest of the season, meaning if we match the other 10 results we will win 28 matches this season. the games we can improve on are Southampton away, Liverpool away, Man C away, and Wet Spam at home

Man C can't match last season's 100pts, but if they were to win their remaining 14 they would improve on 2 results by beating Palace and Burnley away which were both draws last season, there other 12 matches were won

Liverpool can still improve 7 results compared to last season 6 of those were draws with 1 loss v United. the other games they drew where Everton, Burnley, Fulham and Newcastle away, with 2 home matches v us and Chelsea

Man U can improve on 4 matches Leicester and Huddersfield away, and at home to Southampton and Man C

Arsenal can improve on 6 of their remaining fixtures, all were losses last season 5 being away Man C, us, Wolves, Watford and Leicester, with Man U at home.

Chelsea can still improve on 8 fixtures if they can be bothered though only 4 of them are away but are Man C, Everton, Liverpool and Man U. the 4 games they hope to improve on at home are Huddersfield, us, Spam and Burnley
