Im officially renaming this the Liverpool / Chelsea thread. Brad will have to go elsewhere lol.

I was going to link in a Man Utd quote too! I was going to say that, whatever Friedel said, it will pale into insignificance compared to Anders Lindersgaard and his "Giggs could be the next Guardiola" comment today.

His win rate is certainly better...

Maybe we will see "Fergie's Smurfs" running Man. U. next season? The four of them certainly looked like it on T.V.
(And I claim copyright for the above term.)

As the thread has left the original subject, I thought I would add this. The Gooners are crowing about their St Totteringham's Day. The thing is that if you've won f@*$ all for a decade, you need to make up your own award. They haven't seen a cup in a long time and even if they win the FAC it will still be a long time.

Rogers comment about Chelsea parking two buses was as crass and immature as anything Shewood has said this season

I would add to this his ' I dodged a bullet not going to Spurs' re AVB's departure to the list . A pointlessly unpleasant comment . We were AVB's longest managerial appointment and noone is sure he didn't walk
of his own accord .

I note Rodgers is not sneering at Man Utd sacking Moyes 8 months earlier in his Utd time than AVB's at Spurs .

I would like to add this about that utter cockturd Rogers - he keeps on going on about how much money the other title challengers have spent. So I assume that Henderson and Suarez were free transfers? The guy is a class A ****. I don't care that he wasn't there when they were purchased - Liverpool HAVE spent a lot of money on their squad and that's not even touching on the 90G a week wages they throw around. Wanker.

I think Rodgers is really lucky to have a job, 2 poor seasons at Liverpool acted like a plank over Carroll so reduced his re sale value. This season FairPlay but they have had no European football and hardly an injury.

Actually I think it says more about the Liverpool board that they had faith and weren't trigger happy. Also shows the importance of retaining Suarez. However you do have to give him credit for what he has achieved this season - it doesn't matter the external circumstances because they have delivered.
All I'm saying is that he is a wanker.

Maybe, but anything anti-Mourinho is probably overdue being said at this point. 'Parking the bus' originated from him about us yet he plays that way against better teams himself, so I was glad to see it pointed out.

Rodgers said it with a wry grin so I think it was just a playful dig at his mate and alluded to Maureen's comment at us.

Nothing childish or immature as far ad I could see.
