Here goes (sharp intake of breath!)

I have supported Daniel Levy and Enic since they arrived, I supported them through almost all of their decisions including the dismissal of Harry Rednapp.
I bought into the project with AVB and also can see why he was dismissed as well, although none of us really know entirely what happened there. I think in the past few months I have like a lot of other SC and spurs fans have become a little disillusioned with the way the club is going. I am now for the first time worried that we have lost our way and lost it from the top, to the point where maybe Enic should concider looking at selling this wonderful club to someone that can take it to the next level, the management of this club has been superb at times, even the biggest Levy haters have to agree we have progressed massively in his tenure, but I suppose everyone has a ceiling they may hit, and I am starting to think they have hit it.

Along with this I as others feel the heart and soul has been ripped out of this club in the past year or two, the thing is I don't see any of what I have said happening, and in some ways I hope I am proved wrong and DL does turn us into a super power! Sadly I just don't see it happening.

We as fans have had our expectations raised, and with that we expect better football and more committed displays than we are seeing! And really is that wrong? If the club have put us to a level and we as fans pay huge amounts of money to help find this then why shouldn't we expect this level? I run a restaurant, if I carry on charging the prices I do but let my levels of standards drop I will lose business, simple really.

I am a realist and know that you cannot stay at a level for ever as Manchester Utd are showing and Liverpool showed before them, but we really haven't helped ourselves lately with the sales if such great players and without replacing them adequatly.

Anyway that's my vent over, I feel quite sad today as I am a very positive person and have always stuck up for my beloved spurs but last night watching that match changed something inside me.

Wait until we beat Dnipro and set up a nice tie with Benfica and then beat Cardiff and watch either Liverpool or Arse slip up away from home and then you will feel better.

I probably will, but honestly I think we are now papering over cracks.

If any one group is responsible for ripping the heart and soul out of this great club then it's the fans!

Barring our magnificent travelling support, and if you are one of them then i take my hat off to you, our fan base is an absolutely horrific collection of self deserving, miserable, know more about football than anybody else in the world, whining, foot stomping, miserable booing bores known to football.

Lol, I couldn't agree more, our fans also haven't helped and to be fair no matter my feelings I always support my team and never boo etc etc, like I said I am always positive about things, and as said I believe Enic have done an amazing job but maybe they have hit their ceiling.

I disagree, if only for the reason that the fans have little or no 'stakeholder power' anymore.

If you think that the players or management give a single toss about the fans and what they think you are deluded.

Then deluded i must be, because without the fans the club are nothing, without the fans management will be gone, without the fans it's thoroughly miserable for players as well.

I absolutely believe that management and players do give a toss about the fans.

Agree with your first para, obviously.

Disagree with your 2nd. The players more than management, for sure, but the fans have no pull anymore wiht the club so far as i can tell

But the investment of a 'fan' is different, surely?

We have masses of stakeholder power, albeit by proxy! If we stopp buying tickets and SkySports subscriptions the clubs will start cacking it! Of course, that won't happen (I include myself in that :))

Yes. And they know that it won't happen. So argument moot.

I have rarely seen so much bs in one place ........ do fans chose the owner? do fans chose the manager?, do fans chose the players the manager signs? are fans are responsible for Soldado and Lamela woeful form and lack of ROI? I could go on and on ........ fans pay hard earned money supposedly commensurate with the product they are watching and they are the one constant and heartbeat of any club and your constant denigrating of them is totally shameful - do you even go to any games?

You want to read BS you should try reading your own posts, thread in thread out, you are so lacking in even the most basic of understanding it's frightening.

I don't denigrate all of our fans, i denigrate people like you, exactly like you, somebody regardless of money spent i don't even class as a fan, i would prefer there to be an empty seat where you sit.

Regarding whether i go to games or not, these days not very often as i don't live in the UK for one and i gave up my ST's when my father was dying. But i am from a family of generations of Spurs fans, just about everybody in our family is Spurs and we have the club in our blood and i've had 10 years or more as a ST holder and lord knows how many hundreds of games i've been to in my lifetime, more than enough to know that recent history has seen us actually do pretty well.

Why don't you just turn your non stop complaining and whining about the club, manager, players and god knows whoever else in for a while.

I don't know if he does, but I do, all of them in fact, and have done since the mid nineties. Our support right now, for a far better side than we've had for the majority of the past few decades, his appalling. I'm admit that I'm guilty of losing some interest and passion for the club too, but I wouldn't consider myself anywhere near as bad as the whinging, booing, generally quite ignorant fans who are making White Hart Lane sucha toxic place to be. Imagine if you were struggling in your job, and your clients were constantly spamming your inbox with impatient and demanding emails, having a go at you for every last detail of your work. Would this motivate you or make you become ever more edgy about what you produce and perhaps affect the quality of your work further?

But what about responding to his valid questions?

The answers are obvious no's, we can all find easy questions like that about every club can't we.

But the big question is, are the club over or under achieving based on its current resources?

I genuinely think that fans like you are losing interest more because of other fans making it such a miserable experience rather than what the club and team itself is doing.

Who can really enjoy such an atmosphere, on a day out for enjoying yourself FFS.
