Come on, 2 fecking minutes? Is Kane not the only English striker to score more than Messi and Ronaldo in a calender year? Do the media not eulogise about how great Shearer was? Do they not still wank themselves silly over any of the 'big boys' players, past and present? Do me a favour, a 2 minute passing reference is an insult to the boy for his achievements, all they could say was 'can Spurs keep hold of him?'

The BBC has long given up caring about serious coverage of football, or sport in general... Unless it's trying to self aggrandise themselves with the olympics. I wouldn't get worked up about it.

The fact that they still have Mark "aging lesbian" Lawrenson on, asking questions like "who have they got in the FA Cup, do you know?" with absolutely no self awareness whatsoever, tells you as much.
