Good evening everyone ,
Hope you are all having a great day ,
I’m taking my grandson to the spurs game tomorrow and just wondering if I can bring food into the ground for him, you know what 9 year old are like hollow legs lol or are we only allowed to buy food there .

Hope someone can help
Many thanks

Honestly don't know the official position but I am pretty sure they wouldn't make a fuss about some fruit and sweets for the kids. That said they don't frisk you so if it is consealed about your person or just in your pocket you should be fine.
As long as it isn't wrapped up in metal I suppose:)

I mean... There's a whole section of the forum dedicated to these things, but anyway...

No, you can't take food in, unless you have a specific nutrition requirement... And even then I've seen people refused entry unless they bin it if they can't prove it.

The food inside is very good though and not unreasonable. There are bags of sweets and crisps at every counter.

Depending on how hollow his legs are you might want to check out the club's bag policy

Thank you I checked the bag policy and you are correct we can not take bags in , never mind I will stock him up when we are inside as I dont want him asking for food and disturbing people while they are trying to watch the game

Thanks again

Risk v reward...
I don't think they're allowed to frisk kids, so if you can stuff some sweets in his pockets you'll be fine.
Wembley supposedly had a ban on taking food/drink in, but my lad used to walk in with a whole packed lunch!

I normally take some chocolate in and no problems. Also a reusable water bottle and no issues.

Thank you that’s what I was thinking but we can’t take them in can we ?

I take a carton of drink and bag of sweets or Bounty to every game, both home and away. Never been stopped. Wouldn’t dream of paying £5 for something inside the ground , that I can get for £1 outside. Some people have more money than sense.

You can take bags in as long as they are no bigger than A4 size. They just prefer you not to! I'm sure you could take a sandwich in!

As others have said, if you try to carry in an 18 inch dominos they might have something to say, but if it’s snacks in your pocket you’ll be fine. I’ve never had a problem. Even at Wembley I used to take sandwiches in in my coat pocket. Don’t be paying 3-4 quid for a bag of sweets.

Always bear in mind that even if you take your own food in you can still treat yourselves to a sausage roll(y)
