We can now confirm that our Premier League fixture away to Aston Villa will take place on Friday 16 May, kicking-off at 7.30pm (UK).

This match was originally scheduled for Sunday 18 May.

This match remains televised live on Sky Sports.

Spurs were scheduled to travel to Villa Park on 18 May at 14:15 BST but submitted a request to the Premier League for the game to be played earlier in order for Ange Postecoglou's side to have longer to prepare should they reach the Europa League final on 21 May.

Manchester United are already scheduled to face Chelsea that night, meaning the two possible Europa League finalists would have the same amount of recovery time.
