Damn, you did have Shaznay on the list. Sorry! Glad to have it confirmed though. Always thought she was the best looking All Saint, and that was up against Crouch-high competition.
Don't apologise, old chap. It's a long list! Plus you found two names that weren't on there. (y)

Ray Liotta: IMDb. "Is an avid supporter of English Premiership football team Tottenham Hotspur and has been in the crowd for a few matches at White Hart Lane, sometimes giving pre-match interviews on the touchline".

I've never seen him at whl but ..,

He was interviewed on the pitch at Spurs v Charlton in the Fall of '04 (first game after Santini's sacking, iirc - don't ask my why I remember this stuff). Whomever it was speaking with him asked what he knew about Spurs. His response was something like, 'only that they're the greatest team in the world'; which might read like something a fan would say, but you could tell when he said it that he knew nothing of the club (or English football, in all likelihood) and was just good-naturedly ingratiating himself with the fans. Successfully, to be fair, as it did bring a cheer.

I do remember hearing that someone had seen him at the Lane later - though I've no idea if that's true - which made me wonder if he had developed some level of affection for Spurs. No idea, in the end.*

I've heard he's been to whl at least four times and I assumed that was while he was filming in and around London, doing the " let's get noticed" tour.

So much bollocks being bandied about down the years about certain celebs supporting Spurs when in fact, they are all GOONS!!!!

I looked at that list on Topspurs many years back, and I cringed with some of the utter nonsense on there. Mike and Bernie Winters? Both GOONS. Ronnie O'Sullivan? GOON. Shnorbitz? Do me a favour, he was a fucking DOG (so probably a GOON too) and the list goes on and on. Seems like anyone could suggest a celebrity name and it would be included on the list without any verification.

These are some of the names I know for a fact have been verified and are (or were) bone-fide Tottenham fans...

Adele (Singer)
Michael McIntyre (Comedian)
Sir Kenneth Branagh (Actor)
Sir Trevor McDonald (ITV News ICON)
Tracey Crouch (Tory MP)
Bob Blackman (Tory MP)
Robert Halfon (Tory MP)
Claire Tomlinson (SKY TV)
Steve Nash (USA basketball star)
David Lammy (Labour MP)
Jonathan Trott (Cricket star)
Ricky Clarke (Cricket star)
Ben Foster (Goalkeeper)
Gareth Barry (Footballer)
Garry Monk (Football Manager)
Mark Warburton (Football Manager)
Chris Powell (Football Manager)
Chris Hughton (Football Manager)
Warren Mitchell (Actor)
Ledley King (Football Legend)
Darren Gough (Cricket star)
Phil The Drummer from Genesis
Bob Marley (Reggae ICON)
Marcus Trescothick (Cricket star)

...and many many more but I'm getting bored now.

Bob Marley was a fan of the way and style that Ardiles and Villa played football, not Spurs in general.
He did wear a spurs top on occasion but was seen wearing other teams tops was well.

Getting bored of repeating stuff that has already been said several times? Could have saved yourself the effort and just read the thread instead.

That's sort of what has prompted me to do a verified list - to see if we can get a definitive list of confirmed Spurs fans.

So people suggest names (and sometimes provide verification), I do a little research to see which names can be said to be confirmed Spurs fans. Some of the names on your list have already been verified (e.g. Adele, McIntyre, Branagh, etc.)

And ironically, at least one of the names on your list (Bob Marley) I've not been able to confirm. As @Houdini said, the information out there (which I've posted in this thread) actually doesn't confirm that he was - it only confirms that he was photographed wearing a Spurs shirt on occasion. I found the story behind that, which doesn't confirm him as a Spurs fan. While searching, I found a picture of him wearing a Berliner HSV shirt, but no mention that he was a fan of them.

However, if someone comes up with info that confirms him (or anyone else for that matter), then we can put him on the verified list.

With regard that, I will be posting an updated list incorporating confirmation of the new names that have been posted over the last few days, probably tomorrow - I'm out and about today.

Comedian Jimmy Jones is (was) a massive spurs fan, also sat in front of Robert wagner at the lane years ago, he may just have been there as a tourist as he was in London filming Hart to hart

Iain Duncan Smith - confirmed
Gabriel Garcia Marquez - can't find anything to confirm
Mario Vargas LLosa - information suggests he wasn't. In Step Across This Line, Salman Rushdie talks about taking Llosa to WHL for a game and the latter being mystified by what went on, suggesting he wasn't even a football fan, let alone a Spurs fan.
Claude Littner is definitely a fan. Seen his car with personalised plate in the car park. - confirmed. He was also Chief Executive under Sugar
I'm going to merge all your posts into one, Houdini
Brian Adams - if you mean the Canadian singer, then unfortunately, he's a Chelsea fan.
Freddie Adu - confirmed
Matt Aitken - can't find anything to confirm
Anthony Andrews - can't find anything to confirm
Dave Clark - confirmed
Nicky Clark (hairdresser) - confirmed. Was guest columnist in August 2009's issue of Hotspur magazine
Darcy Bussle - can't find anything to confirm
Peter Ebdon - confirmed
Chris Eubank - can't find anything to confirm
Henry Kelly - can't find anything to confirm
Sean Maguire - confirmed
Barry Norman - confirmed
Rick Parfitt - not confirmed. Did research on him some time ago and there's nothing suggest that he was
John H Stracey - confirmed
Billy Wingrove - confirmed
Brian Waldron - can't find anything to confirm
Frankie Vaughan - can't find anything to confirm. There is something about how Vaughan presented medals at a John White Benefit Macth in 1964, but that was because the match was held at Maccabi stadium, which was the home of Wingate who Vaughan had previously played for. Beyond that, I can't find anything that says he was a confirmed Spurs fan
The Williams bloke from F1 - can't find anything to confirm Frank Williams
Peter Purves - confirmed
Paul Merton - confirmed

Claire Tomlinson (SKY TV) - already on the list
Steve Nash (USA basketball star) - already on the list
David Lammy (Labour MP) - confirmed
Jonathan Trott (Cricket star) - already on the list
Ricky Clarke (Cricket star) - Rikki Clarke - confirmed
Ben Foster (Goalkeeper) - stated in April 2017 that he's no longer a Spurs fan, but supports West Brom
Gareth Barry (Footballer) - confirmed

Mark Warburton (Football Manager) - confirmed
Chris Powell (Football Manager) - can't find anything to confirm

@rez9000 , mate, WTF?

That post is like a fucking Rubik's Cube.
Just letting people know that I'm loving their contributions, that I think they're wonderful, well-rounded and attractive people with excellent prospects, and that I'm actively doing research to fulfill their desire to know who is a Spurs fan and who isn't, even though I'm not being paid.

Bastards!

Yeah, my bad. I should have read all 22 pages of the thread before I posted anything. So, what if there were 220 pages? o_O

I have that problem from time to time - coming into a thread partway. What I usually do is read the first post and then the last few pages. But most important I generally don't worry too much. If you have something to contribute, you should.
