If I remember rightly, many years ago he did play for Spurs for a half in a special match for Ossie, maybe a testimonial...?

But the idea of having that junked up cheating little shitbag as a Spurs fan doesn't exactly excite me.

(Tin hat firmly on).

.

Bob Marley played is Ossie's testimonial?

Apologies! I thought she hadn’t been posted to the thread. Either the thread search feature doesn’t work or I’m not using it properly.

We seem to score higher in the stands than on the pitch. Peter Cook sets the bar pretty high. Not sure anyone can surpass him.

I remember many, many years ago when Peter Cooke was interviewed by Brian Moore. Must have been live because Moore asked him what he thought of a plan for us to share a ground with Arsenal which must have been in the news. Cooke replied ( with a totally straight face)
'I think it's a terrible idea.'
Moore asked him to elaborate.
'Well' he said 'Arsenal would play there one Saturday and then we'd have to play there the following week'.
'How is that a problem?' asked Moore.
' It's pretty obvious' Cooke replied. 'We'd only have a week to get rid of the smell. I mean, can you imagine trying to shift the stench..........'
At that point the interview was swiftly terminated.

First image that comes up when you google image search 'Bob Marley Spurs'... only looked at the thumbnail tho so probably photoshopped. Either way don't care. Best. Famous. Spurs. Fan. Ever. ?

Found these a while back, think yo're right and the spurs kit has been shopped in, as the other one is used in a few reputable articles online!

I don’t know how to do it or if it’s possible but it would be good to have a sticky list of famous Spurs fans at the start of this thread maybe?

Next question: my son is asking me if there are any NFL players that are Spurs fans. Anyone know?

Sorry for the bump but ran into this by accident

Vinnie Jones!

From his wiki pages - Jones is a supporter of the Conservative Party, stating "I am very proud of being British, very pro the monarchy and very Conservative."[31] He is a supporter of the football team Tottenham Hotspur.[32]

Been right through the thead and has not been mentioned.
Didn't know that, so I looked it up in case it was Wiki BS, but it's true. Good find.

He came out on the pitch a couple of times as well way back I recall he was a Torquay supporter really but adopted Tottenham - I think there is a sketch when an Arsenal supporter had the 'audacitty to talk to him' so he gave him what for

I have posted it far too often on this site, but if you must insist:

I always thought he hated us, so that’s a turn up. I suspect he just hated Gary Lineker.

I just had a quick read of the director Steve McQueens wiki page after watching one of his new anthology films today (Mangrove). In the ‘personal’ section it states that he used to be a Spurs fan but quit as it affected his day too much!

I’d never quit but I know what he means, especially on days like today. ?

He supports Real Madrid, but I know the World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen has been to Spurs matches.
