Did he mention Spurs in his tweet? Seems more likely he’s lamenting the loss of an entertaining player to top level football and the $$$ being more important than the game.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but (Sir) David Frost was a keen Spurs fan, Back in the day I stood directly behind him on the terraces. He spoke to us and was generous with his time.
