He just seems to be moving to a role with more responsibility, rather then being part of restructuring. He was previously brought in by Paratici/Giani, we also lost Leuzzi a few months ago who was another one.
So that’s Michael Edwards and Alex Inglethorpe plus these lads. Liverpool have done alright out of us.

Ha! I glanced the title and thought it said Paratici had been SECTIONED LOL...
It took me a long time to not read the "Levy/ENIC Discussion in here!" thread title as "Levy/ENIC in discussion here", like there was a whole thread dedicated to wanting him to stay in place.

I am curious now if Paratici will ever be back in an official capacity.

Hiring Thomas Frank does not seem like a Paratici-led decision. So, I question how much influence he is wielding even as an unofficial advisor.

Given their history, it looks like Lange may have led this search, and recommended Thomas. Levy, of course, may well have been aware of Frank without Lange - but I still don't see any of Paratici's fingerprints on this hire.

It seems like a certainty that Paratici will be back in my opinion. I don’t think Frank is a massive deviation to what Paratici would want or that

Agree. Don’t see how there’s room for both Paritici and Lange and this feels very much like a Lange appointment.

Think it’s been said before, but they can work together, I’m not saying they will. But Lange heads up the technical department who ifentifies players, then Paratici and Frank agree on who is attainable within the budget, Paratici then greases the wheels with the agents (basically cutting Levy out the picture)

people forget we are a massive club and Lange can look at the player identification at all levels, whilst Paratici heads up all departments across the full playing side and Vini can pick up the slack on the women’s. No reason they all can’t work together.

it was also said at the time Lange had Paraticis blessing when he stepped aside and given technical director, whereas Paratici was sporting director (I think) so might have always been the plan to bring Fabio back into the fold once his ban finishes.

our medical side of first team is a joke and that is not going to be fixed overnight. That’s going to have to be a massive part of Fabios job from day 1 as well as the new medical facilities there going to start building

He's a must now for me, Lange has done well with the youngsters he's signed but we are going to need some quality experience in this team.

There is only so much you can do with tactics and talented youngsters. Paratici needs to be in charge of bringing in quality (ready now) experienced players to support Frank.

We know we work on a budget, so make sure the majority of players brought in this summer are Paratici specials. In my eyes we need 3 players, a midfielder (who is a leader) being the most important, a winger and a CB. I wouldn't be averse to Vlahovic as well if he's available.

It of course depends if we really want to challenge or not. Experience supporting spurs suggests we will do the bare minimum and leave Frank a very difficult job.
