According to Sky Sports News Spurs chief scout Ian Broomfield was at the York V Leeds game today. This is only an assumption as to who he was watching but I can't imagine we would be scouting any player other then Delph.

Jonny Howson? He will be better than Delph... The kid has a great footballing brain.

I'm not saying that he is who Broomfield went to watch, but I hope so...

My mate is a massive Leeds fan, he says apart from Delph, Becchio and Snodgrass may be the other two, and perhaps also Kilkenny. He says Kilkenny might only be Championship standard though, and Howson wouldn't quite be Premiership quality yet, but has tons of potential.

Howson is a talent and last season he was in great form. This year has been largely poor though. Delph is 2 years younger and already a tough, no nonesense midfielder, howson is most definitely behind Delph these days and he's the kind of young player we should be looking to sign. I went to te game today and he was class again.

howson is not in the same class as delph. my old man is a big leeds fan so i have watched alot of there games with him and also went to 21 games last season and in my view is far more advanced than lennon was at his age.

he can also play on the left.

I have a few Leeds mate and they rave on about Delph, they'll be really surprised if he's still with them next season.

Some of the goals in that vid... Unbelievable. I know you can't judge by YouTube but those are just goals from one season.

What I worry about is that he might not be given enough time to hit that form. At Everton, for example, he would get a few months to show his class.

is he 1 who would come straight into the first team squad or do you think we might loan him out for a few months?

Definitely loan him out to a top Championship club, or maybe even Hull, Stoke, Burnley.

Impressive on youtbe, I liked the fact that he score from distance with either foot. Many an established England international has never been able to do that.
