Just read that Klopp has said that they are taking their winter break and he won’t be there, let alone the first team!
Didn’t the FA come out a few years ago about clubs putting weak teams out? Saying that there would be punishments??
or is my brain talking shit?

Think it was for the league. But agree with what Klopp is doing, FA have said no games to be played on these set dates, so they have said to players to go away for a bit! It's either a winter break and no games, or it's a round of fixtures scheduled in.

30 point deduction for fielding a weakend team seems fair enough.

They would probably still win the league though, that's how bad we have all been this season.

Seems ridiculous that they’ve built this break into the season and then shoved FA cup replays into it.

I think it is time for the replays to go altogether. There’s already too many games, get rid of replays and the two legged semi final in the league cup while we are at it.

Nah, fuck Klopp, the premier league, and the sportwashing regimes trying to run it. The FA Cup and the replays can be the difference to a club's survival. The winter break is only meant to be beneficial to top flight players who want to play in the stupid winter World Cup. The rest of the football league (like... the vast majority of it), have to play as many games, in just as tough a schedule, and with a fraction of the resources, and their supporters have a harder time following them.

The Accrington Stanley manager is bang on.

Then win the game? He must of known that a replay would fall at that time

Which is why the FA have fucked up on this. The replays shouldn't be when they have told clubs no games will be played.

I think replays need to stay, as some clubs need these for money to keep the club going!

A few managers dont want FA cup replays, even our own, and its purely a selfish reason. They dont care about the smaller clubs and how this helps them. Shrewsbury winning is good for them and they can get another glamour tie so playing pools kids wont be that bad. Plus if we get through thats one less big team to deal with.

Klopp already disrespected one cup and now he going to do another even though they have the league wrapped up but the FA aren't blameless in this.

Prepare yourself for years of this type of shit

Klopps teams fade away eventually. Ferguson he is not. Might have to tolerate it for another season or two but it’ll end a lot sooner than they seem to think.

The FA have screwed up with the scheduling.

But in my opinion Klopp is being a prize prick and Liverpool should be kicked out of the competition.

If Pool reserves best Shrewsbury they go away to Chelsea.

Watch them throw the tie even more blatantly now.

Reminder for Bournemouth: you're playing at home. And you're 1-0 down needing to score a goal, not 1-0 up protecting a lead. How's aboot playing accordingly?

Nobody does that anymore, including us.
We've repeatedly been a goal down with 5mins or so left and we're doing 8 or 9 passes between our goalkeeper and the back 4 before finally hoofing it up the pitch in a rushed half arsed attempt when pressed in.
Players these days are brain dead.
Infuriating.
Did you see Fulham against Man City? This is how we play, and if we let 5 goals in the first 15min playing this way we're just gonna keep doing it because 'this is how we play.' Daft.
