Tranmere 1-0 up against Watford
Not at all surprised, the Watford XI only has three players I've seen before and the bench is all kids.

Holebas, Kabasele and Gray must be wondering what the hell they're doing there and how far the pecking order they've fallen.

Didn't check the lineup. I'm guessing Pearson's prioritising Prem survival then.

Yeah, and for Tranmere to go through and a tie against Man United is much more important than it is for Watford. Their vice chairman was on the Totally Football League Show yesterday and said winning tonight means a guarantee of at least £500,000 in prize money and gate receipts for the United game. That's huge for them.

Would love to see the looks on the Utd players faces when they see the Tranmere dressing rooms and pitch for the first time. Going to be like entering the Third World for them.

Just watched the goal highlights and was thinking exactly the same thing. That pitch is definitely going to be a challenge.

Watching the Brentford V Leicester game, shame Brentford have to play Forrest on Tuesday, think they'd have given Leicester a good game otherwise.

The young striker up front for Brentford, Dervisoglu is a highly rated youngster, they are hoping for something similar from him as they got from Neal Maupay.

Despite an early lead for Leicester, I think Brentford are producing a fair amount of chances.

Given a decent account of themselves considering some of the youth and inexperience (somewhat) out there. It's been an open cup game, enjoyable for the neutral.

Edit: Just as I post that, Brentford have a brain fart at the back and it almost costs them a second!

Tranmere’s pitch is a right state. Could definitely be a factor against Man U.

BT must be pissed off. How many people will have switched off now the result is decided?

Ahhh! the magic of the cup.

City game over after 6 minutes, now Utd 4 up before HT. What fantastic TV picks.

Edit: 5 up
