Tim Ream got a red card for that earlier today. Scouse only get yellow. These officials are so consistent!?

Imagine one of the best defenders in the world being turned by Jason Cummings from Shrewsbury. Stick in there Dejan. You can do it. :hilarious: :joyful::poop:

BBC reporter: "Shrewsbury are celebrating like they've won the cup. They haven't, but they've got something even better: a trip to Anfield."

Fucking hell. Because a trip to Anfield is the greatest prize mankind can dream of.

Fucking hell. Because a trip to Anfield is the greatest achievement.

This is why the FA Cup is such a magical competition
Magical until Shrewsbury get wrecked at Anfield.

Don't get me wrong - I understand the financial importance of replays at huge grounds.

But from a pure footballing perspective, I'd rather see relays scrapped. The chances of a lower league team holding their own against a PL team are already low. The chances of them doing it twice are very remote indeed.

Agree about replays being scrapped

I doubt any Shrewsbury fan will remember what happens at Anfield (unless they win of course). But nights like tonight are what live long in fans memories. Going to Anfield will be a great experiance for Shrewsbury, win or lose and it’s what makes the FA cup magical.

Re replays, I think it should be to both clubs discretion as to whether a reply should be played. If neither want it then they tell the FA and the game goes to ET and penalties.

If the two club's are split then it goes to a replay.

While replays are pains in the arse for the bigger clubs, they mean alot to the teams down in the lower leagues as it means extra revenue for them that they could really do with.

Just read that Klopp has said that they are taking their winter break and he won’t be there, let alone the first team!
