Have your expectations changed for this season from what they were at the start? Have they risen or fallen in recent weeks? How do you think Tim Sherwood's Blue & White Army (get used to it) will end up?

I was pulling for 3rd at the start of the season, and provided we pull ourselves together, no reason why we can't end up about there. The top seven is a mad dash for the top and whoever pulls ahead will get the upper hand. Worth mentioning that despite being awful all season, we're only 6 points off top. I'm going to keep holding out for 4th, more out of a feeling that we should get it rather than a feeling that we will.

So yeah: what are you expecting?

Said 6th at the beginning of the season, and still think that that's where we'll probably end up. Then again, if you'd asked me again during AVB's final few games I would've said 8th-9th. I think that if we'd had a manager in place at the start of the season who could get 'par' out of the players and squad we've got (AVB definitely couldn't; too early to say whether Sherwood will or won't be able to) then we could've pushed 3rd. C'est la vie.

Think it's too early to make any predictions...I think after our game vs United we'll have a better idea of how this season will play out. As of now we don't know how our new manager and his team will do. 4th will be tough but doable. Think it will be a pick between one of the two though: a Champion's league spot or a Europa League run.

I expect the league table to look like this after 19 games. We should be winning the next fixture despite both teams being our kryptonite in the past.

1. Arsenal 40
2. Man City 39
3. Liverpool 38
4. Chelsea 38
5. Everton 38
6. Tottenham 36
7. Man Utd 34

I honestly believe we can finish anywhere in the top 8, if players start to perform as a team I see us doing better than our first half of the season

Lowered a bit if I'm honest but still think we have what it takes to make CL. Realistically Liverpool have a thin squad that's going to be exposed for its lack of depth sooner or later (my hope is sooner obviously). Everton are playing well atm but again a thin squad and a reliance on loanees (Deulofeu and Lukaku) can make them vulnerable if the parent clubs decide to call them back for whatever reason. Citeh and the Arse don't seem to be moving out of the top spots any time soon so for that reason I take their CL qualification as a given. That leaves the chavs - who I believe may or may not make it (IMO Mourinho doesn't quite know how to use the players at his disposal as yet/ don't fit his style of play) and United who lets be honest somehow find a way to sneak in there somehow - although as long as Moyes has differences with RVP are not as potent as they can be.
Leaves a lot to chance but if we keep our heads down, give it as much as we've got, we could still end up in one of the CL places. Over to you Tim.

I always thought we would go through a transitional period (same as L'Pool did) with all the new players and losing key players in Modric and Bale.

I no longer have expectations, just wishes.

I wish for stability
I wish for understanding from the board to give a manager time to get the players playing at their best (even if that is Sherwood)
Strange one, but I wish for Sherwood to succeed so we can achieve the above two wishes

No expectations. Hoping for top 4 and Europa final.

It's going to be tough, Everton have looked fantastic so far and Suarez is inspiring Liverpool. Chelsea, the scum and Man City top 3, then a slugging match between us, Liverpool, Everton and Man utd for fourth.
Is Sherwood a top class manager? No. Are we likely to finish higher then with AVB at the helm? Probably.

I expect top 4. Much less convinced we will get it, but to me that's still the minimum. If we finish 7th then I'm sure we'll have another new manager at the beginning of next season.

I thought 3rd-6th with AVB, i think 5th-10th with Sherwood.

I expect 4th minimum otherwise we need a proper manager over the summer.

Still believe we can do it. Considering all the rubbish written/said about us lately, just look at the table. If we enter the new year in the pack we stand a great chance with our squad depth.

What happens if any of the teams around us lose 3/4 of their defense for some games? Alot of points to play for.
