Bergvall yellow card. My god, when you see what Joelinton gets away with. It’s really astounding but not surprising!
Didnt think it was a penalty by the way.

Fair dos, I only saw it at the time and thought it was very similar to the one Chelsea got against us but maybe not. 🤓

Yeah, every game recently, our first aggressive challenge is a booking irrespective of what has come before it. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Don’t get me wrong it might get given on another day as it was a foul. Wouldn’t have been overturned if it was given.

Agreed Sarr and Bissouma seem to get booked early on in every game which must affect how they play for the rest of the game.

Because it's not actually about the football for Levy. Never has been. Never will be. We are an 'entertainments business' remember.
Because it will take him a little while to settle. Huge changes for him.

It is nothing new unfortunately. I have seen our 'fans' say some awful things to and about Emerson, PEH, Naughton, Rose, Werner, Lamela, Vorm and so many others who I can't remember. We have some terrible people in our fanbase and situations like this really highlight that.
You are correct about our fanbase and this can also be seen in some awful posts. To carry on with some of the things being said with no regard for peoples mental health is low grade thinking.

Everyone on Ref Watch / SkySports says that Son should have had a penalty yesterday... clumsy challenge from Branthwaite... and Son got in front of him... VAR should have stepped in.

That's still just 1 penalty for us all season in the PL ??

Just home from the game, what a shower of shit that was! Truly bloody awful!

The signal in the stadium is useless so we couldn’t tell what the lineup and formation was going to be. When we started with 3 at the back I couldn’t believe it! Perfect opportunity to push Gray into midfield and he does that!

I haven’t had a chance to look back over the thread for any mention of the fans but we stayed and waited for the players to come over. I have to say, some of our fans are absolute ****s! Booing Son and telling him he wasn’t fit to wear the shirt! Abusing Porro and Maddison plus some of the shit being said to Dragusin was vile!

Obviously I was pissed off with the performance but I hate seeing that, it’s not on.
We all get very irritated (that's putting it mildly) when the team or individuals perform badly and criticism of them is fine, but abuse is not. When you think of what a wonderful player and ambassador for the club Sonny has been and his politeness, etc., it makes me feel ashamed of these so called supporters.

Just saw the treatment of Sonny by a small section of the traveling fans yesterday. I know the players were rubbish and have been for quite some time, but this was disgraceful to be honest. The poor guy looked so distraught. I genuinely felt sorry for him. Shocking

So called as you say. I'm not buying the ' our away fans are so great' line. There must be a sizeable number who gets tickets from various sources rather than this picture of them all going to every game etc

I agree, none of our players should be the brunt of the fans frustration but every team in every league has fans with that mindset.

As an aside, when things get tough, I don't think Son is a leader, and after watching Maddison's interview on Spurs TV post match of the Everton game you can see that some of our players appear not to be up for the challenge that lies ahead.

Son have been a great servant to the club, and should never be used as the root cause of our current situation, but he is no leader of men, especially when we are in or current situation.

We need a Captain with strength, determination and leadership, and i didn't see that from him when being interviewed over the past few weeks.

I'd prefer a defender, or midfielder.

I don't see a leader from those players.

For me it would be Romero, a proven winner, and made of the right stuff.
I'm not so sure about Romero. I suppose it could be a way of getting him to stay but it still might not be a way of getting him to stay on the pitch

Well hopefully he comes back with the bit between his teeth because he's had a bad start to the season and looked very disinterested
