You don't send a player off because another player gets hurt, the card should be for the challenge not the outcome!

How on earth did Son see red not Aurier. Son’s was an innocuous bad tackle, Aurier mutilated the guy, which was inevitable as he flies in like that every time. He’s a monster and i am ashamed he plays for us. I will never support this player.

I don't think it was a monstrous act at all. Gomes had been hacked down from behind and landed awkwardly, Aurier was going full pelt to win the ball. It was hardly intentional.
