I think every single neutral in the country would rather watch our tie that Liverpool v Man Utd
I bet Norway is an exception. Pretty sure we have the highest percentage of Liverpool or Man U supporters per capita in the world, bar maybe Ireland. It's incredibly frustrating.

Clickbait of the absolute worst kind. Of course you're going to be able to assemble 10 tweets assuming we will lose, goes without saying. Far more will be saying that this is an incredibly open monster of a game.
Absolutely agree, but I like these articles downplaying our chances. If we lose, people expect it. If we win, we shut up several (albeit temporarily).

One tweet stood out though from this morning suggesting it'll be an all English tie and the other will play Dortmund. Which happened!

pleased. but the coefficient is gonna take a hit :)

you might of been answered by now, but Italy only have 1 team in both comps left at the moment. Juventus need to beat Bayern Germany, and we are guaranteed 1 team in next round where as Lazio will now need to carry the flag in the Europa, and City have a good chance of going further than Juve, even Chelsea have a chance

we have to beat the best, so might as well beat them now

I wanted Prague for the combo of great trip and winnable tie. As it is, we got the great trip, but not so much the winnable tie. Still give us a good chance though!

Flights are all booked, cannot wait!!

On the coefficient
City is taking a road win home to Manchester so is a heavy favorite to make the quarters and could get a decent draw and a semifinal spot.
Chelsea is down one goal coming home and could certainly win.
The goons are doomed
One of Pool or united is in the quarters.
We have a rough but winnable tie.
On the italian side
Roma is out barring a minor miracle.
Juve needs to win at Bayern to advance not likely.
Lazio has the easiest matchup of any of the ones left but not a walkover.

The key to the coefficient in the next round of EL and the second leg of the CL is that City still wins their game with Kiev and that there is a winner in each game of the Liverpool United tie because wins are the most important things for the coefficient. If England loses its space it will not be based on this year it will be off of how terrible we were in past three years.

Just repeating what others have said, but this is a great fixture!

As much as I dislike the format of the EL, we have had some great fixtures against the likes of Lyon, Inter, Lazio, and now this.

Dortmund are my favourite German team, and I can't wait to see us go up against them. They have some great players so it's going to be tough, but as others have said, if we're going to win it we need to beat the best, so might as well see if we can earlier rather than later.

Bring it on, this is another good test for the team.

Imagine this fixture in a couple of years, hopefully in the Champions League. Their 'yellow wall' in one game and ours in the other. The atmosphere would be insane.

Just heard the draw - wow.

Love it. If we want to win it we might as well start knocking out the very best now.
