We should plan as if we play the final. If Romero is out for another 2 months, we still want him registered to play.

Not including Spence in the original squad has led to this maddening situation. You’d want all four of them in there.

Very harsh on Kinsky. We’ve looked much more solid at the back with him in goal.

I wonder what Kinsky was told when he joined, as using him as one of the swaps feels extravagant but he's too good to not be playing at all and if Vic is #1 then he plays all PL games.

As understand it, we were 2 players short of homegrown players which meant we had to leave players out. If we did qualify for Europe next season is there any way of rectifying this within our squad?

Well, Keeley is another senior player next season, but guess it's just Whiteman replacement in the UEFA squad - if he's not out on loan that it. We're likely to be 2 down next season too.

I guess Kinsky misses out. Danso for Dragusin
Tel for Werner
And Spence Odebert
Didn’t Ange say Odobert was due back in a couple of weeks?

The nailed on changes are Danso for Radu and Tel for Forster. Then for me it should be Spence for Werner. We don’t need to swap Odobert out.

Does Tel count as a 3 to be registered being U21? If not, then we’d still be able to register Kinksy, Spence and Danso. Forster, Dragusin and maybe Werner to make way.

Thinking could be Kinsky plays in the league and Vicario in the cups, that are more important to us now...

Yeah, I get that, but how many first choice keepers don't play the PL games?

In some ways, it's a great problem to have - actual competition but . . .

U21s can be registered to the B list only if they have been at the club for 2 years.
Hence why Bergvall and Gray had to be registered to the A list.

I have a feeling keepers can be added later as an emergency replacement? So make sense to add Spence, Danso & tel and then if vic has a set back with injury we can maybe add kinsky later on?
If two of your List A goalkeepers are injured or ill for at least 30 days at the same time, you are allowed to register an extra one until one of them is back, and can ignore homegrown rules to do so. So if two out of Vic, Austin and Whiteman are out long term at the same time, we can temporarily add in Kinsky (or Forster). But if e.g. Vic and Austin were both unavailable but at least one of them was because of a shorter injury, illness or suspension, we'd have to play Alfie Whiteman.

Yes, unless the U21 player has been at the club 2 years (without loan) they need to be registered, so is part of the 3.

I think we have to nominate the squad by midnight before our first round of 16 match in March. Is that correct?

"Clubs have until 24:00 CET on Thursday 6 February to communicate their desired squad changes. Once all teams' changes are approved by UEFA in each competition, the full list of ins and outs will be published on UEFA.com."

Obviously this only applied to "List A" players. List B players (U21 players that have been here 2 years or more) can be included in the squad before midnight the day before a game.

It’s club trained players we are short of and Keeley isn’t club trained.

Scarlett, Devine and Casanova are club trained but I think have one more season on the B list.

Oh and Craig moves up from the B list next season.
