Be nice to see him start in the middle rather than out of position on the left.
No brainer surely?

Sherwood has got him playing perfectly in his current position out left floating.

Imo he'd be more effective bossing the game in the middle.
He is pretty much our only creative playmaker so wtf is he doing playing lw in a 442?
Its so stupid its untrue.
Yes he's playing well, no arguement there, but is he more effective there than if he was in the middle?
Id be amazed if our next manager plays him out there next season.
And I think its more a case of he keeps coming inside because he always will rather than being given a floating role.
We shall see.

Eriksen didn't look like he was wearing Sherwood badges after that post-match interview.

I think this is just easing him into the PL much like Modric played on the left for a long period after he joined us.

I suspect Eriksen will end up there when he has filled out a little more to be able to cope with the midfield battle ground.
