I never expected him to leave before the summer. Bit of a bonus for the club although whether it adds to the transfer kitty who knows.

I have to say i will wish him well if and when he leaves, he has been a great player for us.
yes that last year or so have seen a drop in form but when your head has been turned or just waiting for your next move, its hard to give 100% every game so it is up to the management to get it sorted by dropping him or replace him.
for whatever reason he has not been replaced by the club and the most creative player we have got.
i agree how Jose has been using him lately from the bench and the odd start, but overall we have jut not been the team or having the performances from many players not just him.

I actually liked the look of Winks and Lo Celso in the middle and Eriksen coming off the bench,

I do think we are lacking a real physical presence in the middle but would settle for what we have now, if only we could secure a target man before the end of this window.

If we get a striker, we have an outside chance of top 4, no striker signed, then kiss the season goodbye from now.
