Was excited about him as a prospect, didn't think that he'd make this big of an impact from day one. Massive bargain at four mil and will only get better.

If there's ever peace in the middle east he'll pipe up and claim he was a part of that too.

Utter shitxxxx.

Next week's column...

"Lamela's no longer Fawlty - why my 'que?' motivation made a man of 'Manuel'"

Genuinely just posted

@HotspurRelated: Sherwood (Welbeck): "He was a player I would have wanted to sign had I stayed at Spurs." #THFC

Sherwood always tries claiming credit why is he still not hired if he is such a smart guy?
He has been interviews for at least two Premiership posts, but loyalty to Ferdinand and Ramsey seems to have been a stumbling block; at any rate he has made it pretty clear that if he returns to management it will be on his terms.

Oh, sorry, my mistake, you weren't asking that as a serious question were you?

I am always serious and it can be very stressful :)

Ohh dim dim. Can you be any more dim? Are you gonna take credit for Lamela too now that he's doing good? Oh wait, I forgot. He's not English, Bentaleb, Ade or Eriksen and is therefore much of muchness. Twat.

Dier had nothing to do with Sherwood. That's on Broomfield.

Eric Dier is re-adapting to life in England after Tottenham brought him home from years in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon
  • Eric Dier has returned to England after being signed by Tottenham for £4m
  • The young defender moved to Portugal as a seven-year-old
  • Dier learned his football education with Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon
  • Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani and Luis Figo started their careers at the club
  • Dier cites ball players Rio Ferdinand and Gerard Pique as influences
  • Centre back experienced culture shock during short trial spell at Everton
  • The 20-year-old has scored two goals in as many games for Spurs
  • He has found it strange re-adapting to life in England after so long

Bit of a weird first post but......I was pretty steaming last night with a couple of spurs supporting mates and we were out. Heard some fleetwood mac......and I thought (and sang)

Can you hear me calling
Out your name
You know that I'm falling
And I don't know what to say

I'll speak a little louder
I'll even shout
You know that I'm proud
And I can't get the words out

Oh I,
I want to be with you Eric Dier
