Wouldn’t be that exciting tbh anyway he’s only worth a bit more than Lewis.
I mean, he’s literally built the most storied NFL dynasty of all time since buying them. Kraft and Jose would probably be a perfect fit as the latter is as close to Bill Belichick as you can get in football. Shame it’s all bollocks.

If Levy gets a DOF in to support Mourinho, then i'm firmly ENIC in again. It will only be then where it can be proven that hiring Mourinho was to get results on the pitch and not purely for brand exposure.

Still, the act of sacking Pochettino definitely seems like one of ambition to be a big club though. Long term mediocrity cannot be acceptable at any big football club. DL did also invest a significant amount in players this summer, and I do believe if it weren't for image rights issues then we would have spunked £65m on Dybala too.

The signing of Jose is surely to keep up the value of the company. Installing a manger who has won all the major trophies adds huge value to the club. I am convinced it was the fear of the down valuing of the club that led to bringing in such an expensive and volatile figure. Maybe that means they want to sell soon or Perhaps it is to facilitate further financial deals. Winning is not the big goal of Enoch; as has been pointed out they failed to back mangers for the final push when in the verge of winning the league.

Or maybe, they think he's the best man for the job, to instill a winning mentality so we can win trophies. Just a thought. I like Levy, he's a Spurs man through and through. He does what's best for the club. What's best isn't always chucking money at players and their wages that we can't sustain. Whoever eventually takes over, I will be very nervous. Be careful what you wish for.

Levy is a Spurs man through and through in the same way I’m fond of Preston North End because they won me a carpet on an accumulator.

In or out? Now that we’ve shaken things about with the managerial situation I hope we can turn around.

I’m in for as long as everything is Hokey Cokey.

We don‘t need new owners.

I’ve swung 60/40 out/in but back on side with the appointment of Mourinho which to me is a real ambitious move. Unless DL is doing the job himself, what more can he do than appoint one of the most successful men in football and pay him £15m a year. For that money, he will have a brief to have a pop at the league. Like I’ve said, the easy and cheap move would have been to keep Poch to end of season.

I think the summer spend was decent and hopefully more to come on the back of our increased revenues.

Like others have said, the infrastructure projects have been necessary after years of neglect but have taken from football side but this is inevitable.

With these now complete, I definitely want to see the club run by DL to see what he can do. We need stability now.

Annoying we didn't get Grealish last summer but maybe that was a Poch?

Clear clear In for me.

They have their issues and sometimes I just wish we would be not so tight on the transfer market but I take that when I see where they brought us and what an infrastructure they gave us.

Look at Aston Villa, Leeds, West Ham, Portsmouth.... you wanna swap?

Purely for brand exposure? You want brand expose you buy a player not get in a guy who is know for winning trophies.

That makes no sense.

Why?

The last time we had one with Baldini there was still a lot of uncertainty about who was scouting/buying the players.

The only thing that Baldini did was shorten the amount of time a transfer took instead of seeing deals drag out.

Which is exactly what we want/need...don't think Jose will take too kindly at Levy dragging our deals to the last day of the window.

It's been well documented that Jose wanted a DOF at Man Utd but Woodward refused.

Whether he is successful here or not, Jose Mourinho is one of the biggest names in football, up there and bigger than a lot of big name players. Just look how many social media followers we've gained since his appointment. ENIC will be loving that.

Hiring a DOF will erase all doubt for me that this is purely a football decision and not just one to give the illusion that we're a big club by hiring him (with all the press that comes with him) then proceeding to not back him in the transfer market.
